Trois nouvelles r\u00e9centes, dont aucune n&rsquo;est particuli\u00e8rement r\u00e9jouissante pour le programme am\u00e9ricain et soi-disant international.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t&bull; L&rsquo;annonce, d\u00e9velopp\u00e9e <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aviationnow.com\/awin\/awin_awst\/awin_awst_story.jsp?issueDate=2004-06-28&#038;story=xml\/awst_xml\/2004\/06\/28\/AW_06_28_2004_p33-34-01.xml\" class=\"gen\">dans Aviation Week &#038; Space Technology<\/a>, que le moteur de l&rsquo;avion, le Pratt &#038; Whitner F135, rencontre des probl\u00e8mes, essentiellement avec la version STOVL. Ces probl\u00e8mes sont dus essentiellement \u00e0 l&rsquo;exc\u00e9dent de poids de cette version.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00ab <em>Pratt &#038; Whitney stopped its tests when the first Stovl F135 production-configuration engine developed erosion damage in the second-stage vanes of its low-pressure turbine. Initial reports from inside the engine community indicate that Pratt &#038; Whitney will not have to redesign any components, but designers will likely have to change some interior engine coatings. A company official says the engine is expected to be back into the test program by early July.<\/em> \u00bb<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><p>\t &bull; Ce probl\u00e8me du poids est pos\u00e9 (officiellement) <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dedefensa.org\/article.php?art_id=654\" class=\"gen\">depuis plus d&rsquo;un an (depuis f\u00e9vrier 2003)<\/a>. A cette \u00e9poque, la solution (r\u00e9duction du poids aux normes initiales) \u00e9tait de r\u00e9soudre ce probl\u00e8me dans les mois \u00e0 venir, pour un r\u00e9tablissement des normes autour de la fin de l&rsquo;\u00e9t\u00e9 2003. Aujourd&rsquo;hui, le probl\u00e8me est tel que vient d&rsquo;\u00eatre adopt\u00e9e (le 29 juin), par le d\u00e9partement de la d\u00e9fense, une proposition de prolonger les d\u00e9lais de d\u00e9veloppement de l&rsquo;avion, pour se donner du temps et r\u00e9soudre cette question du poids. Les nouveaux d\u00e9lais sont 2006 (au lieu de 2005) pour le premier vol du premier prototype du JSF, et 2012 (au lieu de 2010) pour les premiers d\u00e9ploiements du JSF. Depuis le lancement du programme (1994), le d\u00e9lai global de d\u00e9veloppement (lancement du programme-premiers d\u00e9ploiements) a augment\u00e9 de pr\u00e8s d&rsquo;un tiers (18 ans au lieu de 13 ans, le premier d\u00e9ploiement \u00e9tant initialement pr\u00e9vu pour 2007). <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t&bull; Tout cela est d&rsquo;autant plus inqui\u00e9tant que le probl\u00e8me r\u00e9el du poids est largement obscurci par les manipulations g\u00e9n\u00e9rales qui encombrent ce programme. (Aucun programme d&rsquo;avion de combat, sans doute, n&rsquo;a \u00e9t\u00e9 autant l&rsquo;objet d&rsquo;une guerre de propagande et de d\u00e9sinformation aussi intense que le JSF.) The House Appropriations Committee said the problems may be greater than previously recognized, particularly for the most complex of three F-35 versions  one capable of vertical landings for the Marines and the British Navy.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t()<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00bb <em>The Pentagon in April said that the F-35&rsquo;s estimated cost rose 22 percent in a year to $244 billion, including purchases of 2,457 planes. Lockheed also delayed the first flight until 2006 to study ways to shed weight.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00bb <em>The committee is concerned about the impact, if any, these new findings may have on program costs, schedule and &#8230; the successful transition to production of all three F-35 variants, the House committee said.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00bb <em>Lockheed spokesman said that the company has more than 500 engineers working on weight-loss efforts for the Marine and Royal Navy version.<\/em> \u00bb<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><p>\tLa derni\u00e8re pr\u00e9cision est loin d&rsquo;\u00eatre encourageante, contrairement \u00e0 l&rsquo;effet recherch\u00e9 : Nous annoncer que plus de 500 ing\u00e9nieurs travaillent sur le probl\u00e8me du poids et d\u00e9couvrir que celui-ci ne se r\u00e9sout pas, mais, qui plus est, s&rsquo;av\u00e8re plus grave que ce qu&rsquo;on annonce, en v\u00e9rit\u00e9 n&rsquo;a rien pour rassurer.
