Pour lui, le facteur religieux est clairement affirm\u00e9 en regard de la politique qu&rsquo;il poursuit. Bush expose clairement que sa politique a une inspiration divine, donc une caution divine et se trouve hors de toute possibilit\u00e9 d&rsquo;\u00eatre s\u00e9rieusement mise en question. Bien entendu, il s&rsquo;agit chez le pr\u00e9sident d&rsquo;un facteur psychologique et culturel tr\u00e8s particulier, qui constitue un cas int\u00e9ressant en soi; mais c&rsquo;est aussi un fait politique fondamental, dont il n&rsquo;est pas assez tenu compte dans l&rsquo;\u00e9valuation qui est faite de la politique am\u00e9ricaine, et dans le jugement qui est port\u00e9 sur elle. Cet aspect clairement irrationnel devrait figurer dans une mesure importante dans tout jugement rationnel de la politique am\u00e9ricaine.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\tLe Washington <em>Times<\/em> \u00e9crit notamment : <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00ab <em>President Bush <\/em>[&#8230;] <em>called prayer an important part of American public life and lauded the practice of asking God to help the United States win the war against terrorism.<\/em> <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00bb <em>We pray for help in defending the gift of freedom from those who seek to destroy it, Mr. Bush said at an East Room ceremony marking the 54th annual National Day of Prayer. We pray to acknowledge our dependence on the Almighty.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t(&#8230;)<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00bb <em>Mr. Bush made no mention of politics during his remarks at the White House prayer service. But the born-again Christian, whose strong religious faith rankles many liberals, was unapologetic about the power of prayer.<\/em> <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00bb <em>Every day, millions of us turn to the Almighty in reverence and humility, he said.
