Elle \u00e9crit un peu plus loin : \u00ab <em>As Euroskeptic parties emerge strengthened from the no votes, the disconnect between European leaders and voters appears starker than ever.<\/em> \u00bb<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\tVoici ce que nous dit Verheugen:<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00ab <em>The European Commission waded more deeply into the disarray over the future of Europe on Tuesday by pledging to forge ahead with deregulation and other measures to promote competitiveness.<\/em> <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00bb <em>G\u00fcnter Verheugen, the commission vice president in charge of the industry portfolio, said plans to boost European competitiveness as laid out in the 10-year plan known as the Lisbon Agenda would not be scaled back after the rejection by French and Dutch voters of the constitutional treaty.<\/em> <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00bb <em>The agenda must and will continue, Verheugen told reporters. Globalization is not something China imposed on us, but something we have done ourselves. People must be told that globalization is our policy.<\/em> \u00bb<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\tInutile de s&rsquo;exclamer, de s&rsquo;indigner, car ainsi les choses sont-elles bien dites. Plus loin, Verheugen s&rsquo;indigne que les gouvernements n&rsquo;aient pas pr\u00e9par\u00e9 les peuples \u00e0 ces lendemains qui chantent (\u00ab <em>Verheugen blamed national governments, saying they had failed to prepare citizens for the EU&rsquo;s expansion, and for globalization in general<\/em> \u00bb). Il n&rsquo;a pas tort, n&rsquo;est-ce pas, car effectivement, il faut bien l&rsquo;avouer, nul ne nous a pr\u00e9par\u00e9s \u00e0 cette extraordinaire et monstrueuse stupidit\u00e9 de leurs lendemains qui chantent. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\tIl y a un esprit totalement ferm\u00e9, une volont\u00e9 d\u00e9sesp\u00e9r\u00e9e de ne rien voir, un poids formidable mis dans la balance pour \u00e9quilibrer et d\u00e9passer la r\u00e9alit\u00e9, comme si on pouvait la gommer. Il y a tout cela et, au bout du compte, ces paroles qui d\u00e9voilent le pot aux roses: ils conduisent au pas de charge une politique absurde et suicidaire (une vraie politique \u00e9conomiste, foutrement dirigiste pour des lib\u00e9raux) et ils ne pr\u00e9tendent qu&rsquo;une chose : acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer, acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer, encore acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer.
