Chacun jouait au billard \u00e0 plusieurs bandes, chaque action \u00e9tant faite pour obtenir des effets indirects.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\tLe plus remarquable, aujourd&rsquo;hui, est le contraste entre la vigueur et la d\u00e9termination de l&rsquo;action du Britannique \u00e0 Bruxelles et l&rsquo;accueil de la presse britannique, saluant la performance mais \u00e9mettant quelques doutes pour l&rsquo;avenir imm\u00e9diat (la pr\u00e9sidence britannique, d\u00e8s le 1er juillet).<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\tPar contraste, on trouve certains articles \u00e9logieux sur Chirac, l\u00e0 aussi de fa\u00e7on assez inattendue. Il faut lire le rapide jugement donn\u00e9 par le <em>Financial Times<\/em>, qui reconna\u00eet au Fran\u00e7ais une grande r\u00e9ussite tactique. Le titre du FT <a href=\"http:\/\/news.ft.com\/cms\/s\/60c276b4-df6a-11d9-84f8-00000e2511c8.html\" class=\"gen\">est particuli\u00e8rement significatif<\/a> : \u00ab <em>Chirac makes the best of a bad hand<\/em> \u00bb (Chirac a tir\u00e9 le plus qu&rsquo;il pouvait d&rsquo;une position affaiblie).
