Le budget qui lui \u00e9tait allou\u00e9 a \u00e9t\u00e9 supprim\u00e9, selon des informations officieuses qui paraissent bien fix\u00e9es d\u00e9sormais, \u00e0 quelques jours de la pr\u00e9sentation au Congr\u00e8s du budget FY2006 du Pentagone.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\tLa seule chance qui reste pour le moteur Rolls Royce, c&rsquo;est que les d\u00e9l\u00e9gations des \u00c9tats o\u00f9 se trouvent les usines GE qui est associ\u00e9 \u00e0 Rolls, parviennent \u00e0 restaurer les fonds dans le budget lors de l&rsquo;examen du Congr\u00e8s. Ce n&rsquo;est pas assur\u00e9, dans la mesure o\u00f9 des compensations peuvent \u00eatre pr\u00e9vues pour General Electric. This is a big question for GE, said Loren Thompson, military analyst with the Lexington Institute think tank. They could get shut out of the fighter engine business over the next 10 years.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00bb <em>The proposal would benefit Connecticut-based Pratt &#038; Whitney, which got the original contract for the Lockheed Martin aircraft, and delivered its first engine last month. GE spokesman Dan Meador said the alternate engine program provides competition for Pratt &#038; Whitney, helping to drive down costs while also providing a back-up if problems arise.
