L’une d’entre elles, du 29 ao\u00fbt (jour o\u00f9 l’ouragan touche La Nouvelle Orl\u00e9ans), montre GW s’abstenant de toute question \u00e0 propos des divers avertissements qui lui ont \u00e9t\u00e9 communiqu\u00e9s, disant ces seuls mots : \u00ab We are fully prepared.<\/em> \u00bb<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\tSur les vid\u00e9os, on peut voir des conf\u00e9rences et divers directeurs d’agence ou \u00e9lus locaux avertissant des cons\u00e9quences \u00e9ventuellement tragiques de l’ouragan sur le point de frapper La Nouvelle Orl\u00e9ans. C’est le cas de Michael Brown, directeur de la FEMA, conduit \u00e0 la d\u00e9mission pour incomp\u00e9tence apr\u00e8s Katrina. R\u00e9cemment, devant le S\u00e9nat, Brown avait contre-attaqu\u00e9<\/a> en rejetant la responsabilit\u00e9 de la catastrophe. Les vid\u00e9os fournies par AP renforcent sa d\u00e9position devant le Congr\u00e8s.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\tParmi les divers articles rapportant la trouvaille de AP, celui de The Independent<\/a> de ce matin: \u00ab A top hurricane expert voiced grave concerns about the levees and then-Federal Emergency Management Agency chief Michael Brown told the President and Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff he feared there were not enough disaster teams to help evacuees at the Superdome. \t\u00bb Homeland Security officials have said the fog of war blinded them early on to the magnitude of the disaster. But the video and transcripts show federal and local officials discussed threats clearly, reviewed long-made plans and understood Katrina would wreak devastation of historic proportions. I’m sure it will be the top 10 or 15 when all is said and done, National Hurricane Centre’s Max Mayfield warned the day Katrina lashed the Gulf Coast.<\/em> <\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\t\u00bb I don’t buy the ‘fog of war’ defence, Brown told the AP in an interview today. It was a fog of bureaucracy.<\/em> \u00bb<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\tLe mensonge-GW est si flagrant que certains estiment \u00e0 Washington que le cas pourrait convaincre les d\u00e9mocrates d’enfin tenter de lancer une proc\u00e9dure d’impeachment<\/em> contre GW. La chose est loin d’\u00eatre acquise, en raison principalement de l’actuelle paralysie des d\u00e9mocrates devant GW. Le probl\u00e8me est presque surr\u00e9aliste : comment faire passer m\u00e9diatiquement comme exceptionnel, et donc justifiant une proc\u00e9dure d’impeachment<\/em>, un comportement qui constitue l’habitude du pr\u00e9sident ?<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
