\tVoici le passage en question : \u00ab The Post reporter disparagingly notes the results of a recent poll by the University of Maryland on international policy attitudes showing that only 36 percent of French respondents felt that the free enterprise system and free market economy is the best system. This was the lowest percentage of any of the 22 countries polled and compared with 59 percent in Italy, 65 percent in Germany, 66 percent in Britain and 71 percent in the United States.<\/em> \u00bb<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\tCes chiffres confirment le sentiment g\u00e9n\u00e9ral, chaque jour renforc\u00e9, d’une extr\u00eame maturit\u00e9 d’opinion du public fran\u00e7ais sur cette question. Le fait le plus frappant est que ce pourcentage d’opinion est entretenu alors que l’essentiel de la presse \u00e9crite et audiovisuelle est, en France, tr\u00e8s largement favorable au march\u00e9 libre. On retrouve dans cette disparit\u00e9 public-presse celle qu’on mesurait d\u00e9j\u00e0 dans la campagne du r\u00e9f\u00e9rendum du 29 mai 2005. Cette dur\u00e9e du sentiment, voire son renforcement, implique qu’il s’appuie, dans le public fran\u00e7ais, sur une \u00e9laboration critique extr\u00eamement structur\u00e9e.
