Cette prise de position est caract\u00e9ristique de la campagne d\u00e9clench\u00e9e par les amis de Rumsfeld, essentiellement par la description de certains d\u00e9tails accompagnant la fin de carri\u00e8re de Myers.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\tCes d\u00e9tails sont rapport\u00e9s par Wayne Madsen, pour renforcer son id\u00e9e d\u00e9j\u00e0 cit\u00e9e dans un <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dedefensa.org\/article.php?art_id=2611\" class=\"gen\">F&#038;C<\/a> du 16 avril. Il y a d&rsquo;abord l&rsquo;id\u00e9e <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dedefensa.org\/article.php?art_id=2602\" class=\"gen\">d\u00e9j\u00e0 vue<\/a> que Myers appartient \u00e0 un service (l&rsquo;USAF) beaucoup moins concern\u00e9 que l&rsquo;U.S. Army (et le Marine Corps) par la catastrophe irakienne. Madsen rapporte \u00e9galement (dans sa chronique, en date du <a href=\"http:\/\/www.waynemadsenreport.com\/S_<D\" class=\"gen\">17 avril<\/a>) des d\u00e9tails plus sp\u00e9cifiques.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00ab <em>&#8230;Myers, who hails from very Republican Kansas, was able to secure a high ranking job in the Bush administration for his niece, Julie Myers, who now serves as the Assistant Secretary of Homeland Security\/head of the Bureau of Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Myers&rsquo; only qualifications for the job: having uncle Richard go to bat for her and the endorsement of her her husband, John Wood, the chief of staff to Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00bb <em>Myers also has wasted no time in dipping into the coffers of the bloated budget of Bush&rsquo;s military-industrial complex. He serves on the board of Northrop Grumman. Also on the board of John Deere, Myers rubs shoulders with the retired chairman of Lockheed Martin.
