Quelques indications nous sont donn\u00e9es par un reportage de Riad Kahwaji, pour <em>Defense News<\/em> du <a href=\"http:\/\/www.defensenews.com\/story.php?F=1720216&#038;C=mideast\" class=\"gen\">24 avril<\/a>. L&rsquo;une d&rsquo;entre elles les r\u00e9sume toutes : \u00ab <em>Unless there is a major shift in the Iranian position in regards to their nuclear program, I do not see an escape from a military confrontation with the U.S., said Mustapha Al-Ani, director of security and terrorism studies at the Gulf Research Center.<\/em> \u00bb<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\tLe plus int\u00e9ressant se trouve concentr\u00e9 dans les trois derniers paragraphes, qui nous d\u00e9crivent le comportement des Am\u00e9ricains avec leurs alli\u00e9s, dans la crise en cours (l&rsquo;Irak) comme dans celle qui vient (l&rsquo;Iran). Il n&rsquo;y a rien \u00e0 attendre de leur part,  de la moindre r\u00e9flexion en fonction des autres, de l&rsquo;ouverture aux r\u00e9flexions des autres, de l&rsquo;\u00e9coute de conseils ou de l&rsquo;exp\u00e9rience des autres. La volont\u00e9 des pays de GCC de se faire entendre des Am\u00e9ricains para\u00eet, \u00e0 cette lumi\u00e8re, bien illusoire.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00ab <em>Shortly before the Iraq War, U.S. officials informed us that they decided to invade Iraq, said a GCC military official. When we tried to voice our views, the Americans told us that they were here only to tell us of their intentions and not to listen, and we kept quiet, believing Washington knew what it was doing.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00bb <em>But after seeing the big mess in Iraq, our faith in U.S. war plans has been shaken, and this time, if the Americans decide to attack Iran, we will make sure Washington listens to our concerns because our countries would be under direct threat of attack by nonconventional weapons and the region&rsquo;s economy would be in danger, he said.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00bb <em>Al-Ani pointed out that in case of war, GCC officials would want assurances from the U.S. However, both Al-Ani and <\/em>[president of the Kuwait Center for Strategic Studies] <em>Al-Faraj said that if Washington decides to go to war, there would be nothing the Arab Gulf states could do to stop it.<\/em> \u00bb<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><p>\tMis en ligne le 24 avril 2006 \u00e0 09H12<\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Les experts des pays p\u00e9troliers mod\u00e9r\u00e9s du Golfe, les membres du GCC (Golf Cooperation Council), sont particuli\u00e8rement pessimistes sur l&rsquo;\u00e9volution de la situation dans la crise iranienne.
