Obrador, le candidat de gauche \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9lection pr\u00e9sidentielle du 1er juillet, conteste plus que jamais les r\u00e9sultats de cette \u00e9lection. En attendant la d\u00e9cision de la Cour f\u00e9d\u00e9rale sur sa plainte (d\u00e9but septembre), il doit entretenir la mobilisation de ses partisans.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\tHier, il a r\u00e9uni une marche de soutien de 1,2 million de personnes \u00e0 Mexico. Il s&rsquo;agit d&rsquo;un des plus grands rassemblements populaires dans l&rsquo;histoire du Mexique. Obrador a demand\u00e9 \u00e0 ses partisans d&rsquo;accentuer leur action politique par des initiatives de d\u00e9sob\u00e9issance civique. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\tLe <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2006\/07\/31\/world\/americas\/31mexico.html?hp&#038;ex=115431840\" class=\"gen\">New York Times<\/a> \u00e9crit :<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00ab <em>Four weeks after a very close election plunged this country into political crisis, the leftist candidate escalated his campaign to undo the official results, telling a mass rally of his supporters on Sunday that they must engage in civil disobedience to defend democracy and force the recognition of my triumph as president.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t()<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00bb <em>The city police, whose commanders have political ties to Mr. L\u00f3pez Obrador, estimated that about 1.2 million people attended the march, making it one of the largest in the country&rsquo;s history.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00bb <em>The estimate could not be confirmed by other means, but the central square, which holds about 100,000 people, was packed, a sea of people wearing the bright yellow of Mr. L\u00f3pez Obrador&rsquo;s Party of the Democratic Revolution. The crowd spilled into nearby streets, filling major avenues for a half-mile in every direction.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00bb <em>The multitude  farmers and working-class people bused from rural towns, as well as left-leaning urban professionals  thundered the chant, Vote by vote, polling place by polling place, as Mr. L\u00f3pez Obrador took the stage.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t()<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00bb <em>Mr. L\u00f3pez Obrador called for 32 sit-ins across the city, another step in his campaign to ratchet up pressure on the court to order a recount and on his opponent to accept it. So far, the protests and marches he has led have been peaceful, though he said Sunday that more acts of civil disobedience would be planned.<\/em> \u00bb<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\tDeux choses doivent \u00eatre not\u00e9es apr\u00e8s cette manifestation g\u00e9ante.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t&bull; La premi\u00e8re est qu&rsquo;Obrador, qui ne veut pas dramatiser les \u00e9v\u00e9nements ni radicaliser son action, est n\u00e9anmoins oblig\u00e9 d&rsquo;aller dans ce sens pour maintenir et renforcer la mobilisation populaire.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t&bull; La seconde est qu&rsquo;il ne manuvre pas sans soutien, qu&rsquo;il a d&rsquo;ores et d\u00e9j\u00e0 celui des autorit\u00e9s de Mexico dont il fut maire (notamment la police, comme il est mentionn\u00e9 dans l&rsquo;article). Ce point est important. Nous ne sommes pas, au Mexique, dans la situation o\u00f9 un contestataire met en cause un r\u00e9sultat \u00e9lectoral d&rsquo;une fa\u00e7on isol\u00e9e par rapport au syst\u00e8me, mais bien dans la situation politique o\u00f9 certaines forces du syst\u00e8me soutiennent ce contestataire (et la police de Mexico, ce n&rsquo;est pas rien).
