Ils situent l&rsquo;importance attach\u00e9e \u00e0 ce document.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\tUn commentaire de l&rsquo;ancien analyste de la CIA Ray McGovern, sur <em>Antiwar.com<\/em> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.antiwar.com\/mcgovern\/?articleid=9609\" class=\"gen\">ce jour<\/a>, donne certaines indications int\u00e9ressantes.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\tOn retiendra particuli\u00e8rement ce que McGovern nous dit de l&rsquo;urgence o\u00f9 ce rapport a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9crit, voire m\u00eame inspir\u00e9. Cela signifie que l&rsquo;administration est press\u00e9e d&rsquo;avoir dans la main des arguments authentifi\u00e9s (si possible par la CIA) pour se tourner vers une orientation agressive par rapport \u00e0 l&rsquo;Iran, \u00e9ventuellement jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 une attaque. Bref, \u00e0 la Maison-Blanche, on est press\u00e9.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00ab <em>Hoekstra&rsquo;s release of this paper is another sign pointing in the direction of a US attack on Iran. Tehran is now being blamed not only for inciting Hezbollah but also for sending improvised explosive devices (IEDs) into Iraq to kill or maim US forces.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00bb <em>There is yet another, if more subtle, disquieting note about the paper. It bears the earmarks of a rushed job, with very little editorial scrubbing. There are misplaced modifiers, and verbs often do not take enough care to agree in number with their nouns.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00bb <em>One wag suggested that the president may have taken a direct hand in the drafting. My guess is even more troubling. It seems to me possible that the Cheney-Rumsfeld cabal told Hoekstra to get the paper out sooner rather than later, as an aid to Americans in recognizing Iran as a strategic threat. In the coming weeks, look for mushroom clouds.
