Elle amorce un nouveau tournant C&rsquo;est-\u00e0-dire, qu&rsquo;en fait d&rsquo;amorcer, le tournant est bel et bien pris et il est radical  dans le sens de la mod\u00e9ration<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\tAinsi nous en informe Jim Lobe ce <a href=\"http:\/\/www.antiwar.com\/lobe\/?articleid=9949\" class=\"gen\">1er novembre<\/a> : <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00ab<em>In a major policy address, Sen. Hillary Clinton Tuesday called for a sea change in U.S. foreign policy that would include direct talks with Syria, Iran, and North Korea and greater U.S. engagement in promoting peace between Israel and the Palestinians.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00bb<em>Let us never negotiate from fear, but let us never fear to negotiate, she declared, quoting former President John Kennedy. Direct negotiations are not a sign of weakness, they&rsquo;re a sign of leadership.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00bb<em>The speech, delivered at the New York headquarters of the influential Council on Foreign Relations, also called for a phased redeployment of U.S. troops from Iraq by the end of the year designed in part to force the Iraqi government to  begin to do more to resolve their own political situation. She called the current political situation there a complete absurdity.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00bb<em>Clinton said Washington needed a bipartisan policy based on a blend of both idealism and realism in the service of American interests in which diplomacy is given a much higher value than the administration of President George W. Bush has accorded.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00bb<em>This administration&rsquo;s choices were false ones, she declared. Internationalism versus unilateralism; realism versus idealism.  I think it&rsquo;s fair to say we are now all internationalists and we are all realists, she added.<\/em>\u00bb<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\tEcartons l&rsquo;\u00e9ventuelle signification de politique \u00e9trang\u00e8re du message, s&rsquo;il y en a une,  sinon celle que Hillary partage l&rsquo;exasp\u00e9ration grandissante de l&rsquo;<em>establishment<\/em> pour le blocage catastrophique actuel. Si l&rsquo;on s&rsquo;en r\u00e9f\u00e8re \u00e0 l&rsquo;habilet\u00e9 politicienne consomm\u00e9e de la s\u00e9natrice et \u00e0 sa position-cl\u00e9 au sein du parti d\u00e9mocrate, on peut tirer au moins trois enseignements de son \u00e9volution-surprise:<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t  L&rsquo;exasp\u00e9ration et le courant anti-guerre au sein du parti d\u00e9mocrate doivent certainement avoir atteint une tr\u00e8s grande puissance et la s\u00e9natrice Clinton ne peut plus se permettre de ne pas prendre une nette position publique dans ce sens.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t  Etant s\u00e9natrice de New York (forte population juive) et ayant toujours \u00e9t\u00e9 tr\u00e8s attentive \u00e0 son \u00e9lectorat juif, Clinton a d\u00fb s&rsquo;assurer des sentiments de cet \u00e9lectorat. Cela signifie que la communaut\u00e9 juive des USA est de moins en moins derri\u00e8re la politique bushiste par fid\u00e9lit\u00e9 \u00e0 Isra\u00ebl et retrouve sa couleur politique naturelle, lib\u00e9rale et oppos\u00e9e \u00e0 une politique de force. L&rsquo;amorce d&rsquo;une telle \u00e9volution avait \u00e9t\u00e9 not\u00e9e \u00e0 plusieurs reprises ces deniers mois.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t  Si, comme c&rsquo;est probable, les d\u00e9mocrates emportent la majorit\u00e9 dans l&rsquo;une des deux Chambres, voire dans les deux, leur position sur la politique \u00e9trang\u00e8re risque de devenir une v\u00e9ritable opposition et d&rsquo;entraver gravement les actions de l&rsquo;administration.  <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><p>\tMis en ligne le 1er novembre 2006 \u00e0 12H08<\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hillary Clinton change son fusil d&rsquo;\u00e9paule.
