Depuis un an que Washington et son habituelle machine de communication sont en marche pour peindre l&rsquo;Iran en diable de premi\u00e8re classe, la perception des citoyens US n&rsquo;a pas vari\u00e9, elle a m\u00eame recul\u00e9 de 2% par rapport \u00e0 2006 (27% des personnes interrog\u00e9es consid\u00e9rant l&rsquo;Iran comme <em>the greatest danger<\/em> pour les USA en f\u00e9vrier 2006, contre 25% en f\u00e9vrier 2007).<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\tSelon le site <em>MyDD.com<\/em> du <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mydd.com\/story\/2007\/2\/15\/19456\/3027\" class=\"gen\">15 f\u00e9vrier<\/a> :<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00ab<em>President Bush and his administration have expended a great deal of effort in recent days and weeks trying to sell the case for war with Iran, whether explicitly or implicitly. But by and large their case is falling on deaf ears among the American public, as evidenced by new numbers from The Pew Research Center.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00bb<em>In recent weeks, the Bush administration also has highlighted the increasing threat posed by Iran, both because of its nuclear program and its reported support for anti-U.S. insurgents in Iraq. But public perceptions of the Iranian threat have not increased over the past year. Currently, a quarter of Americans volunteer Iran as the country representing the greatest danger&rsquo; to the U.S., the highest percentage naming any single country. In February 2006, a comparable number (27%) cited Iran as the greatest threat to the U.S. And the public is split evenly over whether it is more important for the U.S. to take a firm stand against Iranian actions or to try to avoid a military conflict with Iran (43% each).<\/em>\u00bb<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\tSi l&rsquo;on en juge de fa\u00e7on rationnelle, selon les calculs politiques habituels, il appara\u00eet clairement qu&rsquo;une attaque contre l&rsquo;Iran n&rsquo;est pas d\u00e9sir\u00e9e par les Am\u00e9ricains. L&rsquo;attitude avant l&rsquo;attaque contre l&rsquo;Irak, en 2002-2003, \u00e9tait radicalement diff\u00e9rente puisque plus de la majorit\u00e9 des Am\u00e9ricains soutenaient cette attaque. C&rsquo;est un probl\u00e8me s\u00e9rieux pour l&rsquo;\u00e9quipe GW, dans le cas d&rsquo;un plan d&rsquo;attaque de l&rsquo;Iran.
