Il s&rsquo;agirait plut\u00f4t du Royaume-Uni pris au pi\u00e8ge d&rsquo;une situation particuli\u00e8rement d\u00e9licate. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\tLe <em>Sunday Telegraph<\/em> rend compte, sur un ton professionnel qui doit cacher une fureur consid\u00e9rable, d&rsquo;une situation d&rsquo;impasse pour Londres, et de la recherche d\u00e9sesp\u00e9r\u00e9e d&rsquo;un accord avec les Iraniens. Le quotidien, qui a de bonnes sources dans la bureaucratie militaire, signale une proposition qu&rsquo;envisageraient les Britanniques, qui n&rsquo;est pas vraiment glorieuse pour l&rsquo;ex-puissante Angleterre imp\u00e9riale et son ex-imp\u00e9riale Royal Navy : le Royaume-Uni s&rsquo;engagerait solennellement \u00e0 ne pas p\u00e9n\u00e9trer intentionnellement dans les eaux territoriales iraniennes. C&rsquo;est un curieux engagement puisqu&rsquo;il ne s&rsquo;agit que du respect des lois internationales en la mati\u00e8re, mais dans les circonstances courantes et le contexte, cela revient presque \u00e0 un aveu des Britanniques qu&rsquo;ils ont d\u00e9j\u00e0 viol\u00e9 intentionnellement les eaux territoriales iraniennes,  et, pourquoi pas, avec les 15 marins et <em>Marines<\/em> captur\u00e9s par T\u00e9h\u00e9ran ?<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\tVoici quelques mots de cet <a href=\"http:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/news\/main.jhtml?xml=\/news\/2007\/04\/01\/wiran01.xml\" class=\"gen\">article<\/a> du <em>Sunday Telegraph<\/em> d&rsquo;aujourd&rsquo;hui :<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00ab<em>Ministers are preparing a compromise deal to allow Iran to save face and release its 15 British military captives by promising that the Royal Navy will never knowingly enter Iranian waters without permission.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00bb<em>The Sunday Telegraph has learnt of plans to send a Royal Navy captain or commodore to Teheran, as a special envoy of the Government, to deliver a public assurance that officials hope will end the diplomatic standoff.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00bb<em>The move, which was discussed at a meeting of Whitehall&rsquo;s Cobra crisis committee yesterday, came as Downing Street officials explicitly cautioned against hopes of a speedy outcome and said that families of the hostages should prepare for the long haul.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00bb<em>The Prime Minister, Tony Blair, and the Foreign Secretary, Margaret Beckett, have been warned that the impasse may develop into a long-term stand-off.
