The OECD, in charge of ensuring adherence, voiced concerns about Britain in March and would send a team to the country for on-site discussions between now and March 2008, Pieth said. We will continuously monitor, he said, adding the main issue was whether there were systemic hurdles to investigations and prosecutions.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00bb<em>Privately, other officials say the OECD wants to allow low-profile pressure to apply, after raising a red flag in March, much to London&rsquo;s irritation.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00bb<em>South Africa became the first African country to sign up to the OECD&rsquo;s anti-bribery convention on Tuesday, vowing to do all it could to combat the scourge of corruption. En d&rsquo;autres termes, en plus d&rsquo;\u00eatre sans doute responsable et peut-\u00eatre coupable, BAE risque de devenir le bouc-\u00e9missaire r\u00eav\u00e9 et la victime expiatoire n\u00e9cessaire \u00e0 la bonne r\u00e9putation de l&rsquo;OCDE, des pays signataires et du syst\u00e8me lui-m\u00eame, dans leur volont\u00e9 commune et m\u00e9diatiquement affich\u00e9e d&rsquo;\u00e9radiquer la corruption.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\tLa bonne r\u00e9putation de l&rsquo;OCDE, des pays signataires et du syst\u00e8me contre l&rsquo;immunit\u00e9 pour BAE? <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dedefensa.org\/article.php?art_id=4092\" class=\"gen\">Cette fois<\/a>, les Britanniques pourraient ne pas faire le poids.
