C&rsquo;est donc le cas de la r\u00e9v\u00e9lation faite par des parlementaires lib\u00e9raux britanniques, et reprise notamment par <em>The Independent<\/em> de <a href=\"http:\/\/news.independent.co.uk\/uk\/politics\/article2745123.ece\" class=\"gen\">ce jour<\/a>, d&rsquo;un nouveau march\u00e9 d&rsquo;\u00a31 milliard et portant sur 60 avions d&rsquo;entra\u00eenement <em>Hawk<\/em>. (Rien n&rsquo;est dit sur le fait de savoir si ces n\u00e9gociations sont affect\u00e9es par l&rsquo;affaire BAE en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral, notamment par un freinage ou des conditions pos\u00e9es par les Saoudiens. C&rsquo;est probable.)<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\tC&rsquo;est caract\u00e9ristique. On n&rsquo;applaudit pas du tout \u00e0 la nouvelle, qui est pourtant bonne pour l&rsquo;exportation et l&rsquo;industrie britanniques. Voyez les r\u00e9actions des parlementaires lib\u00e9raux :<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00ab<em>Liberal Democrat MPs said yesterday that it was possible the Saudis had dangled the current deal during representations to drop the corruption inquiry.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00bb<em>Mr Lamb added: If this contract was envisaged and the Saudis were saying your prospects of winning this contract hang in the balance, that would be yet more evidence of a breach of OECD rules.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00bb<em>It certainly needs to be pursued. C&rsquo;est cet aspect structurel qui est le plus pr\u00e9occupant et alimente tant de soup\u00e7ons selon lesquels, au lieu d&rsquo;\u00eatre un groupe contr\u00f4lant le secteur d\u00e9fense\/a\u00e9rospatial de l&rsquo;Arabie, BAE serait plut\u00f4t tenu <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dedefensa.org\/article.php?art_id=4184\" class=\"gen\">sous l&rsquo;influence manipulatrice<\/a> de l&rsquo;Arabie, client fastueux, corrupteur et exigeant.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\tDeux remarques \u00e0 ce propos, extraites de l&rsquo;article :<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00ab<em>The arms industry bible Jane&rsquo;s Defence Weekly reports that BAE and the Saudi government are negotiating a new \u00a31bn contract for 60 Hawk trainer jets. If that goes ahead, it will lock the Saudi air force, BAE and Britain&rsquo;s Royal Air Force into years of training co-operation that would be worth billions of pounds.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t()<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00bb<em>Defence analyst Paul Beaver said the deal showed how tightly BAE and the Saudis were linked.
