Aussit\u00f4t vint aux commentateurs vigilants l&rsquo;analogie des Golfes,  entre l&rsquo;incident du Golfe du Tonkin (qui fut le point de d\u00e9part de l&rsquo;engagement US massif au Vietnam) et ce qui aurait pu devenir l&rsquo;incident du Golfe Persique,  \u00e9ventuellement utilis\u00e9 comme argument, ou comme pr\u00e9texte, pour une pouss\u00e9e guerri\u00e8re vers l&rsquo;Iran. (Depuis 1964, des r\u00e9v\u00e9lations ont montr\u00e9 que l&rsquo;incident du Golfe du Tonkin avait \u00e9t\u00e9 pour l&rsquo;essentiel une provocation et un montage pour permettre aux USA de disposer d&rsquo;un argument pour leur politique d&rsquo;implication au Vietnam.) Bush na pas manqu\u00e9 \u00e9videmment pas de r\u00e9agir comme il convenait, en <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wsws.org\/articles\/2008\/jan2008\/gulf-j11.shtml\" class=\"gen\">mena\u00e7ant<\/a> l&rsquo;Iran.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\tHier, les Iraniens ont protest\u00e9 et diffus\u00e9 leur propre vid\u00e9o, qui restitue une sc\u00e8ne diff\u00e9rente. Selon le <em>Guardian<\/em> d&rsquo;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.guardian.co.uk\/iran\/story\/0,,2239119,00.html\" class=\"gen\">aujourd&rsquo;hui<\/a>:<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00ab<em>Yesterday the Iranians put out their own four-minute video that showed an Iranian patrol officer in a small boat communicating with one of the US ships. Coalition warship number 73, this is an Iranian navy patrol boat, the Iranian said. An American naval officer replied: This is coalition warship number 73 operating in international waters.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00bb<em>The voice of the Iranian sailor in Tehran&rsquo;s footage was different to the deeper and more menacing voice, threatening to blow up the warships in the US version. Nor was there any sign of aggressive behaviour by the Iranian patrol boats.<\/em>\u00bb<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\tLe dernier \u00e9pisode en date de l&rsquo;incident du Golfe Persique nous est divulgu\u00e9 aujourd&rsquo;hui. Le Pentagone, ou plut\u00f4t le commandement de l&rsquo;U.S. Navy dans la r\u00e9gion (la Cinqui\u00e8me Flotte), a pr\u00e9cis\u00e9 que l&rsquo;on pouvait d\u00e9sormais difficilement dire si la vid\u00e9o mena\u00e7ante diffus\u00e9e au d\u00e9but de cette affaire par le Pentagone restituait un message effectivement venu du navire lui-m\u00eame soi-disant mena\u00e7ant. Selon l&rsquo;AFP (via le <em>Herald Sun<\/em> d&rsquo;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.news.com.au\/heraldsun\/story\/0,21985,23036718-5005961,00.html\" class=\"gen\">aujourd&rsquo;hui<\/a>):<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00ab<em>The US Navy says there is no way to know if a threat radioed to US warships in the Strait of Hormuz came from Iranian speedboats, casting doubt on the earlier US version of Sunday&rsquo;s confrontation.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00bb<em>There is no way to know where this (radioed threat) exactly came from. It could have come from the shore&#8230; or another vessel in the area, Lieutenant John Gay of the US Navy Fifth Fleet in Bahrain said.<\/em>\u00ab<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\tCette \u00e9volution est singuli\u00e8re. On ne pourra s&#8217;emp\u00eacher d&rsquo;observer que la premi\u00e8re alerte, accusatrice de l&rsquo;Iran, venait du Pentagone lui-m\u00eame et non de Central Command.
