S&rsquo;agit-il d&rsquo;un complot des Gardiens de la R\u00e9volution? D&rsquo;un montage des fous am\u00e9ricanistes comploteurs professionnels? D&rsquo;une attaque sournoise de Poutine? Rien de tout cela. Voyons plut\u00f4t du c\u00f4t\u00e9 de <em>Filipino Monkey<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\tLa publication <em>Navy Times<\/em> publie un reportage, avec divers t\u00e9moignages int\u00e9ressants, ce <a href=\"http:\/\/www.navytimes.com\/news\/2008\/01\/navy_hormuz_iran_radio_080111\/\" class=\"gen\">13 janvier<\/a>.  Le <em>Guardian<\/em> en reprend quelques d\u00e9tails essentiels <a href=\"http:\/\/www.guardian.co.uk\/iran\/story\/0,,2240533,00.html\" class=\"gen\">aujourd&rsquo;hui<\/a>. La th\u00e8se d&rsquo;une interf\u00e9rence de transmission, avec messages mena\u00e7ants de l&rsquo;un ou l&rsquo;autre messager anonyme dont le go\u00fbt serait semble-t-il de semer le d\u00e9sordre, cette th\u00e8se d\u00e9j\u00e0 envisag\u00e9e est fortement renforc\u00e9e. Elle l&rsquo;est tellement que le messager n&rsquo;est m\u00eame plus anonyme, qu&rsquo;il est au contraire connu dans la r\u00e9gion comme impr\u00e9cateur principal \u00e0 l&rsquo;encontre des forces patrouillant dans la zone.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t<em>Navy Times<\/em> nous dit ceci, apr\u00e8s avoir rappel\u00e9 les diverses incertitudes concernant l&rsquo;appel mena\u00e7ant qui conduisit l&rsquo;un des trois navires de l&rsquo;U.S. Navy concern\u00e9s par l&rsquo;incident \u00e0 envisager de tirer contre des vedettes iraniennes:<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00ab<em>So with Navy officials unsure and the Iranians accusing the U.S. of fabrications, whose voice was it? In recent years, American ships operating in the Middle East have had to contend with a mysterious but profane voice known by the ethnically insulting handle of Filipino Monkey, likely more than one person, who listens in on ship-to-ship radio traffic and then jumps on the net shouting insults and jabbering vile epithets.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00bb<em>Navy women  a helicopter pilot hailing a tanker, for example  who are overheard on the radio are said to suffer particularly degrading treatment.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00bb<em>Several Navy ship drivers interviewed by Navy Times are raising the possibility that the Monkey, or an imitator, was indeed featured in that video.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00bb<em>Rick Hoffman, a retired captain who commanded the cruiser Hue City and spent many of his 17 years at sea in the Gulf was subject to the renegade radio talker repeatedly, often without pause during the so-called Tanker Wars of the late 1980s.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00bb<em>For 25 years there&rsquo;s been this mythical guy out there who, hour after hour, shouts obscenities and threats, he said. He could be tied up pierside somewhere or he could be on the bridge of a merchant ship.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00bb<em>And the Monkey has stamina.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00bb<em>He used to go all night long. The guy is crazy, he said. But who knows how many Filipino Monkeys there are? Could it have been a spurious transmission? Absolutely.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00bb<em>Furthermore, Hoffman said radio signals have a way of traveling long distances in that area. Under certain weather conditions I could hear Bahrain from the Strait of Hormuz.<\/em>\u00bb<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\tAinsi, ce serait ce cher vieux <em>Filipino Monkey<\/em> qui aurait provoqu\u00e9 tout ce tintamarre, quelques \u00e9ditoriaux furieux, des r\u00e9flexions consid\u00e9rables des analystes, un rappel que la terrible menace iranienne existe toujours, un discours mena\u00e7ant du pr\u00e9sident toujours en fonction des Etats-Unis d&rsquo;Am\u00e9rique et ainsi de suite?
