Ils se rappelleront quelle formidable volleyeuse elle \u00e9tait, dans les ann\u00e9es 1970-1980, face \u00e0 son adversaire favorite, Chris Evert et son inlassable jeu de fond de court, du temps o\u00f9 le tennis n&rsquo;\u00e9tait pas encore partag\u00e9 entre les Han de b\u00fbcheron, la pub omnipr\u00e9sente et l&rsquo;apparat bling-bling. Toute jeune Tch\u00e9coslovaque prometteuse sortie du morne totalitarisme communiste et pass\u00e9e \u00e0 l&rsquo;Ouest en 1975, elle s&rsquo;affirma aussit\u00f4t comme une jeune femme lib\u00e9r\u00e9e autant en-dehors des courts que sur les courts, affichant son homosexualit\u00e9, ses engagements politiques de soci\u00e9t\u00e9, son pro-am\u00e9ricanisme lib\u00e9ral et ainsi de suite. Navratilova, qui avait son franc-parler, \u00e9tait un des bons atouts de la propagande occidentale contre l&rsquo;univers communiste, atout m\u00eame excellent puisque renvoyant \u00e0 la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 civile beaucoup plus qu&rsquo;\u00e0 la politique elle-m\u00eame.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\tEh bien, c&rsquo;est fini, <em>out<\/em>. Navratilova passe \u00e0 l&rsquo;Est, elle rentre chez elle. Devenue citoyenne US en 1981 apr\u00e8s avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9chue de la nationalit\u00e9 tch\u00e9coslovaque, elle a retrouv\u00e9 cette nationalit\u00e9 tch\u00e8que (ex-tch\u00e9coslovaque) le 9 janvier dernier. Elle a des mots ravageurs, puisqu&rsquo;elle nous met en parall\u00e8le le gouvernement US d&rsquo;aujourd&rsquo;hui et le gouvernement communiste de Husak, le liquidateur du printemps de Prague: \u00ab<em>Le fait est que nous avons \u00e9lu Bush. C&rsquo;est pire. Par comparaison, nous n&rsquo;avions pas choisi un gouvernement communiste en Tch\u00e9coslovaquie.<\/em>\u00bb<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\tC&rsquo;est <em>The Independent<\/em> d&rsquo;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/news\/world\/politics\/disillusioned-with-the-us-navratilova-defects-again-794454.html\" class=\"gen\">aujourd&rsquo;hui<\/a> qui nous instruit de la chose:<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00ab<em>Martina Navratilova has regained Czech nationality more than 30 years after fleeing a Communist regime she now compares favourably to that of her adopted country America under President George Bush.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00bb<em>The nine-time Wimbledon champion and one of the world&rsquo;s greatest ever tennis players, Ms Navratilova was born in Prague. She fled in 1975 at the height of the Cold War after being denied the right to compete in professional tennis in the US, where most major tournaments were then played and to where she later moved.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00bb<em>After angering the Communist authorities and living in America for six years, she became a US citizen.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00bb<em>Yesterday, however, she told a press conference in Tokyo that she now has her home citizenship back. I lost it at the time I defected. I got it back on 9 January, she said.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00bb<em>The widely respected star had previously spoken of her disdain of the government of her adopted nation. The thing is that we elected Bush, she told the Czech newspaper Lidove Noviny. That is worse.
