Cela fait partie de ce qui est <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dedefensa.org\/article-super-fdr_22_12_2008.html\" class=\"gen\">\u00e9galement<\/a> pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 avec une tr\u00e8s grande insistance comme une volont\u00e9 de r\u00e9forme radicale du nouveau pr\u00e9sident US, \u00e0 la fois \u00e0 cause et \u00e0 l&rsquo;occasion de la crise \u00e9conomique,  volont\u00e9 en effet sans savoir encore si cela se concr\u00e9tisera en faits suffisamment significatifs.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\tCette \u00e9volution pr\u00e9cise, dans le sens de l&rsquo;engagement dans le bataille environnementale, est pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 ce <a href=\"http:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/news\/world\/americas\/obama-cranks-up-the-green-revolution-1206394.html\" class=\"gen\">21 d\u00e9cembre<\/a> avec enthousiasme par <em>The Independent<\/em>, quotidien notoirement en pointe pour la lutte contre la pollution et contre la crise climatique. (Voir aussi l&rsquo;\u00e9dito du <a href=\"http:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/opinion\/leading-articles\/leading-article-obamas-green-machine-1207403.html\" class=\"gen\">22 d\u00e9cembre<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00ab<em>Barack Obama yesterday promised to end George Bush&rsquo;s twisting of science to suit politics or ideology in an extraordinarily outspoken address to the nation, and announced that he was putting top climate scientists in key positions in his administration.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00bb<em>The move, which signals perhaps his sharpest break with the outgoing administration, makes it clear that he was going to put climate change and the environment among the most urgent priorities of his presidency.<\/em> []<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00bb<em>But in his weekly radio address, Mr Obama pointedly promised to end this. Promoting science is about free and open inquiry, he said. It&rsquo;s about ensuring that facts and evidence are never twisted or obscured by politics or ideology. It&rsquo;s about listening to what our scientists have to say, even when it&rsquo;s inconvenient  especially when it&rsquo;s inconvenient. That will be my goal as president of the United States.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00bb<em>The president-elect used the address to announce his top scientific appointments, which included two of the world&rsquo;s most respected climate scientists, John Holdren and Jane Lubchenco, in a move warmly welcomed even by the country&rsquo;s top Republican environmentalist. They will have enormous influence over his government&rsquo;s green policies.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00bb<em>The appointments follow the naming earlier this month of Steven Chu  a Nobel prize-winning physicist, and another prominent advocate of urgent measures to tackle climate change  to the key position of energy secretary, and a decision to create a special office on energy and climate within the White House headed by Carole Browner, Bill Clinton&rsquo;s former environment chief.<\/em>\u00bb<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\tCes d\u00e9cisions, particuli\u00e8rement les nominations tant dans des agences que dans des d\u00e9partements, sont nettes et claires. Elles montrent qu&rsquo;Obama est d\u00e9cid\u00e9, ou a pris la d\u00e9cision, c&rsquo;est selon, de faire de la lutte contre la pollution et contre la crise climatique un des axes de sa politique g\u00e9n\u00e9rale. Cela implique notamment, au niveau de la politique int\u00e9rieure, un formidable effort allant dans un sens compl\u00e8tement oppos\u00e9 \u00e0 ce qui s&rsquo;est pass\u00e9 pendant huit ans avec l&rsquo;administration GW Bush.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t(Le comportement de cette administration GW Bush est, jusqu&rsquo;au bout, particuli\u00e8rement notable par son nihilisme affairiste, dans le sens d&rsquo;une perception uniquement r\u00e9duite aux int\u00e9r\u00eats politiciens et aux int\u00e9r\u00eats des <em>lobbies<\/em> p\u00e9troliers ou autres, dans ce domaine de la crise climatique. <em>The Independent<\/em> signale que Bush prend en catastrophe une s\u00e9rie de mesures allant dans ce sens: \u00ab<em>And as if to emphasise the difference, President Bush is using his last weeks of power to push through a record number of last-minute rule changes to increase mining and oil drilling on public lands, and even to allow people to carry concealed, loaded guns into national parks.<\/em>\u00bb)<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\tCe volet <em>green<\/em> s&rsquo;inscrit dans ce qui semblerait \u00eatre, du c\u00f4t\u00e9 de l&rsquo;administration Obama telle qu&rsquo;on peut le percevoir pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment ces derniers jours, la mise en place organis\u00e9e d&rsquo;un gouvernement et d&rsquo;une politique g\u00e9n\u00e9rale de plus en plus r\u00e9formiste en m\u00eame temps que sont affirm\u00e9es des intentions \u00e9galement de plus en plus r\u00e9formistes.
