Les enseignements qu&rsquo;il tire rejoignent ceux de notre <em>Bloc-Notes<\/em> du <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dedefensa.org\/article-londres_invente_le_porte-avions_neuf_sans_avion_desarme_et_solde_au_bout_de_3_ans_19_10_2010.html\" class=\"gen\">19 octobre 2010<\/a>. Sweetman situe la commande britannique th\u00e9oriques dans ces conditions nouvelles \u00e0 un maximum de 50 unit\u00e9s (au lieu de 138).<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\tSweetman estime que les d\u00e9cisions britanniques portent \u00e0 la version F-35B \u00e0 d\u00e9collage et atterrissage court\/vertical un coup tr\u00e8s rude, peut-\u00eatre mortel. Un argument in\u00e9dit qu&rsquo;il donne est que le F-35B, qui conna\u00eet \u00e9norm\u00e9ment de difficult\u00e9s, \u00e9tait n\u00e9anmoins pouss\u00e9 en avant \u00e0 cause des commandes \u00e9trang\u00e8res, essentiellement celle des Britanniques,  qui n&rsquo;existent plus d\u00e9sormais. Quant au F-35C (verdsion embarqu\u00e9e conventionnelle), qui est en principe le nouvel \u00e9lu au rabais des Britanniques, Sweetman donne des pr\u00e9cisions sur une orientation nouvelle qui pointe son nez : la possibilit\u00e9 d&rsquo;un nouveau programme pour l&rsquo;U.S. Navy, \u00e0 l&rsquo;initiative de Boeing, qui remplacerait ce m\u00eame F-35C<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00ab<em>Meanwhile, competitors are starting to talk more boldly about taking on JSF. At Defense IQ&rsquo;s Fighter Conference in London today, Boeing vice-president for international business development Rick McCrary briefed predictions for the next ten years that included a start on technology development for a new Navy strike fighter in 2013 and EMD in 2016-17, as well as the extension of the Super Hornet as a bridge to the new program.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00bb<em>It certainly isn&rsquo;t the Navy program of record, he said, but Boeing holds the view that anti-access threats  such as China&rsquo;s anti-ship ballistic missile  will push the Navy into looking for a bigger increase in range than the F-35C offers.<\/em>\u00bb<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\tTout cela rend d&rsquo;autant plus savoureuse la tr\u00e8s courte nouvelle publi\u00e9e par <em>Le Point<\/em>, dans sa rubrique bourse, le <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lepoint.fr\/bourse\/f35-lockheed-compte-sur-des-pays-non-partenaires-pour-prendre-le-relais-19-10-2010-1251637_81.php\" class=\"gen\">19 octobre 2010<\/a> :<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00ab<em>Le groupe d&rsquo;a\u00e9ronautique et de d\u00e9fense Lockheed Martin a affirm\u00e9 mardi qu&rsquo;il serait flexible face aux exigences des clients du nouvel avion F35, dit aussi Joint Strike Fighter, estimant que des r\u00e9ductions de commandes dans des pays fondateurs du programme pourraient \u00eatre compens\u00e9es.<\/em>\u00bb<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n<p class=\"signature\"><em>dedefensa.org<\/em><\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Le JSF \u00e0 la moulinette britannique Bill Sweetman, qui se signale quand il le faut \u00e0 propos du JSF, fait une analyse des cons\u00e9quences pour le JSF des d\u00e9cisions de la Strategic Review londonienne (sur Ares, le 19 octobre 2010) : \u00abnot a lot of good news\u00bb.
