Le sel \u00e9trange de cette requ\u00eate est qu&rsquo;elle vient d&rsquo;un membre de la <em>Knesseth<\/em> isra\u00e9lienne, Michael Ben-Ari, membre du parti de l&rsquo;<a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/National_Union_(Israel)\" class=\"gen\">Union Nationale<\/a>, nationaliste et d&rsquo;extr\u00eame droite. Une hypoth\u00e8se <em>a contrario<\/em> serait que Ben-Ari veut ainsi riposter aux (tr\u00e8s faibles) critiques \u00e9mises ici et l\u00e0 aux USA contre le comportement de l&rsquo;IDF dans les territoires occup\u00e9s, mais aussi contre certaines actions l\u00e9gales contre des militaires isra\u00e9liens \u00e0 partir du Royaume-Uni notamment ; d&rsquo;une part, la chose est rappel\u00e9e dans l&rsquo;article, d&rsquo;autre part il y a la suggestion de Ben-Ari que l&rsquo;enqu\u00eate soit men\u00e9e par Richard Gladstone qui avait \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9sign\u00e9 un temps comme enqu\u00eateur du comportement des forces isra\u00e9liennes dans l&rsquo;attaque contre Gaza de la fin 2008 Bon cas de discorde chez l&rsquo;ennemi.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00ab<em>National Union MK Michael Ben-Ari wrote to United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon on Monday to urge him to form a probe to investigate the actions of the American military in Iraq that the WikiLeaks web site alleged were war crimes. Ben-Ari suggested that the probe be headed by Judge Richard Goldstone, who investigated Israel&rsquo;s handling of Operation Cast Lead in the Gaza Strip.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00bb<em>The latest revelation of US military documents regarding the war in Iraq detailing torture, summary executions, rape, and war crimes by US and US-lead security forces in Iraq, paint a terrifying portrait of US abuse and contempt of international treaties, Ben-Ari wrote.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00bb<em>In his letter, Ben-Ari cited statistics from WikiLeaks indicating that there have been 100,000 civilian causalities in Iraq and that during the course of the war, 31 innocent Iraqi civilians, were killed every day.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00bb<em>That the Pentagon is looking to cover up these crimes from the world shows the US government has that much more to hide, Ben-Ari wrote the secretary-general. I look forward to your call for an urgent hearing at the UN regarding these latest abuses as well as the insidious attempt by the US government to sweep these crimes under the carpet. Ben-Ari event suggested the use of arrest warrants against US government agencies and actors, including senior US military officers.
