Le m\u00eame ministre a pr\u00e9cis\u00e9 qu&rsquo;il voudrait que la Chine particip\u00e2t \u00e0 la construction d&rsquo;une grande base navale pakistanaise, dans le port de Gwader, sur la mer d&rsquo;Arabie (port dont la construction a \u00e9t\u00e9 assur\u00e9e \u00e0 75% par la Chine). D&rsquo;autres coop\u00e9rations concernent les livraisons d&rsquo;armes et les centrales nucl\u00e9aires<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\tLe rapprochement entre la Chine et le Pakistan a pris une importance et un rythme tr\u00e8s rapides depuis la liquidation de ben Laden et des tensions renouvel\u00e9es entre le Pakistan et les USA. Cette coop\u00e9ration strat\u00e9gique et militaire entre les deux pays en est un signe extr\u00eamement significatif. D\u00e9sormais, il appara\u00eet que la r\u00e9ponse du Pakistan aux pressions US se trouve dans l&rsquo;alliance chinoise. Ahmad Mukhtar, who accompanied Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani during a recent visit to China, said the request was made during the trip, when Pakistan thanked Beijing for constructing Gwader Port, on the Arabian Sea.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00bb<em>However, we would be more grateful to the Chinese government if a naval base was being constructed at the site of Gwader for Pakistan, Mukhtar said in a statement. The deep-sea port was around 75 percent financed by China, which Pakistan has been trying to draw in as a strategic partner, especially since the discovery and US killing on May 2 of Osama bin Laden north of Islamabad.<\/em> []<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00bb<em>China is an<\/em> <strong><em>all-weather friend<\/em><\/strong> <em>and the closest ally of Pakistan, and it could be judged from the fact that in which ever sectors Pakistan requested assistance during P.M&rsquo;s recent visit to China, they immediately agreed with Pakistan, the defence minister&rsquo;s statement said.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00bb<em> India, however, has voiced serious concern about defence ties between China and Pakistan and said it would need to bolster its own military capabilities in response.
