Parmi les hommes publics institutionnalis\u00e9s, l’ancien vice-pr\u00e9sident d\u00e9mocrate Al Gore est sans doute le premier \u00e0 r\u00e9clamer d’une fa\u00e7on extr\u00eamement pr\u00e9cise et imp\u00e9rative des \u00e9v\u00e9nements radicaux pour un changement d\u00e9cisif aux USA. Gore est le promoteur inlassable de la lutte contre le changement climatique (climate change<\/em>), et il a \u00e9t\u00e9 largement accus\u00e9 pour cela (de mensonge, de corruption, de promotion personnelle, etc.), \u00a0notamment par les climatosceptiques en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral, notamment et en particulier par les citadelles de vertu que sont les p\u00e9troliers type Exxon et Mobil Oil, et Fox.News<\/em> de l’excellent Rupert Murdoch.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\tMais si l’on parle de climate change<\/em>, cette fois, c’est une image. Lorsqu’il r\u00e9clame un American spring<\/em>, Gore, c’est en r\u00e9f\u00e9rence, rien de moins, au printemps arabe en route depuis d\u00e9cembre 2010. C’est son constat \u00e0 la suite de la crise de la dette : les USA sont dans une crise si profonde qu’il leur faut une v\u00e9ritable r\u00e9volution populaire.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\tCes d\u00e9clarations ont \u00e9t\u00e9 faites lors de deux apparitions d’Al Gore dans l’\u00e9mission Countdown<\/em>, de Keith Olbermann. On remarquera une nuance \u00e9volutive int\u00e9ressante : alors que lundi, Gore attaquait les conservateurs et les r\u00e9publicains sans \u00e9mettre la moindre nuance et en y incluant Tea Party<\/em>, mardi il met quelques nuances \u00e0 l’\u00e9vocation de Tea Party<\/em>, en admettant que nombre de ceux qui soutiennent Tea Party<\/em> veulent un changement comme celui qu’il recommande, cela, tout en mentionnant \u00e9videmment que Tea Party<\/em> d\u00e9pend \u00e9galement de soutiens douteux comme les milliardaires Koch et Fox.News<\/em>. What this sets up is a referendum in 2012. If the forces of reactionary, tea party, Republican forces continue to control the dialogue, then that won’t be any different. But if those of us who feel strongly that we have got to get our country back on the right track, get involved in a very energetic way, then 2012 can be a referendum that makes a difference and takes our country on a better course.<\/em>\u00bb<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

There are people who are genuinely upset in the tea party, I understand that, but that movement was funded with seed money from right-win billionaires, the Koch brothers, and promoted on Fox News and turned into a stalking horse for this right-wing agenda that a lot of people have been trying to push on this country for a long time. This country is in trouble, Gore added. Our democracy has been withering on the vine. This has been going on for some time.<\/em>\u00bb<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
