Cinq jours apr\u00e8s l&rsquo;accord historique sur le dette du gouvernement US, voici sa mesure historique avec la d\u00e9gradation de la cotation des USA du premier rangv (AAA) occup\u00e9 par ce pays depuis qu&rsquo;existent les agences de cotation, au deuxi\u00e8me rang (AA+). Le porte-parole de la Maison-Blanche a qualifi\u00e9 d&rsquo;amateur le travail d&rsquo;analyse de S&#038;P aboutissant \u00e0 cette d\u00e9cision. (Autre travail d&rsquo;amateur : l&rsquo;avertissement de S&#038;P d&rsquo;une nouvelle possible d\u00e9gradation des USA dans les 12 \u00e0 18 mois si la situation actuelle n&rsquo;est pas redress\u00e9e.)<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\tCe qui est remarquable, c&rsquo;est qu&rsquo;il y a un peu plus d&rsquo;un mois, les Europ\u00e9ens, y compris certains dirigeants notamment de l&rsquo;UE, d\u00e9non\u00e7aient les agences de cotation US pour leurs notes sur certains pays europ\u00e9ens (la Gr\u00e8ce), estimant qu&rsquo;il s&rsquo;agissait d&rsquo;une manipulation suscit\u00e9e par les autorit\u00e9s US. The outlook on the new U.S. credit rating is negative, S&#038;P said in a statement, indicating another downgrade was possible in the next 12 to 18 months.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00bb<em>The move reflects the deterioration in the global economic standing of the United States, which has had a AAA credit rating from S&#038;P since 1941, and it could have implications for the U.S. dollar&rsquo;s reserve currency status.
