(On sait que Standard &#038; Poor avait r\u00e9alis\u00e9 cette op\u00e9ration de d\u00e9gradation le <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dedefensa.org\/article-de_aaa_a_aa_chacun_pour_soi_06_08_2011.html\" class=\"gen\">6 ao\u00fbt dernier<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\tIl y a un mois (voir le <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dedefensa.org\/article-vers_une_confirmation_de_aaa_a_aa_pour_les_usa_25_10_2011.html\" class=\"gen\">25 octobre 2011<\/a>), Moody&rsquo;s avait pr\u00e9venu que l&rsquo;\u00e9chec du Congr\u00e8s devrait mener \u00e0 cette mesure. <em>Russia Today<\/em> confirme, ce <a href=\"http:\/\/rt.com\/usa\/news\/moodys-downgrade-us-091\/\" class=\"gen\">24 novembre 2011<\/a>, l&rsquo;intention de l&rsquo;agence de notation d&rsquo;aller vers cette mesure, notamment si une modification est apport\u00e9e au plan g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de r\u00e9ductions automatiques. La menace de veto d&rsquo;Obama si une modification \u00e9tait apport\u00e9e par le Congr\u00e8s aux r\u00e9ductions automatiques vient sans doute de cette crainte face \u00e0 la menace de Moody&rsquo;s.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00ab<em>Could another downgrade of America&rsquo;s credit rating be on the way? Moody&rsquo;s Investor Service on Wednesday warned that that might exactly be the case. The rating agency issued a statement today saying that while the congressional supercommittee&rsquo;s failure to come to a compromise on the US deficit dilemma won&rsquo;t necessarily trigger a downgrade, a change to the automatic cuts that are now set to go into play in 2013 will.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00bb<em>Failing to come to a deal before today&rsquo;s supercommittee deadline, legislation will automatically set up around $1.2 trillion in cuts to America&rsquo;s Department of Defense and entitlement programs in January 2013. Republicans are quickly scrambling to save the Pentagon from around $600 billion in cuts, though President Barack Obama says he won&rsquo;t let that happen. Should a change be made to the plan in its current state, however, Moody&rsquo;s says that they will have to reconsider the United States&rsquo; credit rating.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\t\u00bb<em>While a change in the composition of the spending cuts would not be a major rating consideration, a reduction in the total amount that would increase the projected increase in federal debt over the coming decade could have negative rating implications, Wednesday&rsquo;s statement reads.
