Certes, ce n’est pas un sondage mais c’est tout un symbole, et un symbole, dans ce cas, vaut largement plus qu’un sondage. Pour le sondage, on se rappelle la nouvelle (le 3 juillet 2014<\/a>) sur l’enqu\u00eate d’opinion qui r\u00e9compensait Barack Obama du classement de pire pr\u00e9sident des \u00c9tats-Unis depuis 1945 (et sans doute au-del\u00e0, jusqu’\u00e0 embrasser toute l’histoire des USA, si l’enqu\u00eate avait port\u00e9 sur cette p\u00e9riode). La criminalit\u00e9 \u00e0 Chicago est effrayante (120 personnes assassin\u00e9es depuis le d\u00e9but de l’ann\u00e9e, dont 26 en juillet) et elle touche particuli\u00e8rement les Noirs. La manifestation suit l’assassinat d’une jeune femme enceinte, et la col\u00e8re qui y fut exprim\u00e9e s’est tourn\u00e9e contre Obama, qui ouvre les fronti\u00e8res et d\u00e9gage des budgets pour accueillir les immigrants mais ne fait rien pour les conditions de vie de ses concitoyens, et particuli\u00e8rement ceux de la communaut\u00e9 africaine-am\u00e9ricaine. Par cons\u00e9quent, pour les Africains-Am\u00e9ricains aussi, Obama est le pire pr\u00e9sident… ; pour ces m\u00eames Africains-Am\u00e9ricains, leur condition actuelle ne vaut pas mieux que celle qu’ils connaissaient comme esclaves, il y a 400 ans.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The president’s handling of the illegal invasion in Texas prompted residents to call him out for ignoring the current state of Chicago, where 120 people have been shot and at least 26 killed so far this July.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\t\u00bbThe recent shooting of Jasmine Curry, a pregnant mother of five on Chicago’s Dan Ryan Expressway, prompted the residents to organize the demonstration. Curry’s father, Pierre Curry, attended the event and addressed and spoke of the pain he has endured after losing his first born daughter after losing a son as well, less than one year ago.<\/em>\u00bb<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
