Ainsi en fut-il de la primaire de l&rsquo;Indiana, qui a vu des r\u00e9sultats tout \u00e0 fait remarquables et impressionnants, et somme toute inattendus, et le couronnement \u00e9galement inattendu de Trump par \u00e9limination du reste. Le r\u00e9sultat est une nouvelle acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration du rythme de l&rsquo;\u00e9lection d&rsquo;une part avec un Trump qui ne prend pas la peine de reprendre son souffle, d&rsquo;autre part avec une nouvelle plong\u00e9e dans le d\u00e9sarroi et la panique, sp\u00e9cialement pour l&rsquo;<em>establishment<\/em> qui comprend de moins en moins le sens r\u00e9el et la signification de cette situation.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>&bull; L&rsquo;\u00e9crasante victoire de Trump a non seulement renforc\u00e9 sa position, mais a transform\u00e9 sa position. La cause principale est que cette victoire a entra&icirc;n\u00e9 aussit\u00f4t <a href=\"http:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/news\/2016-05-03\/eliminated-ted-cruz-drops-out-presidential-race\">l&rsquo;annonce de l&rsquo;abandon<\/a> de la course pr\u00e9sidentielle de son rival Ted Cruz. Kasich a suivi.. Pour ce qu&rsquo;on peut en savoir pour l&rsquo;instant, les primaires continuent comme une \u00ab\u00a0comp\u00e9tition\u00a0\u00bb qui n&rsquo;a aucune r\u00e9alit\u00e9 bien entendu. Ce qui s&rsquo;est pass\u00e9 avec l&rsquo;Indiana a fait de Trump le candidat r\u00e9publicain <em>de facto<\/em> pour la phase finale de l&rsquo;\u00e9lection pr\u00e9sidentielle.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><p>Il s&rsquo;agit d&rsquo;un renversement possible de la situation initiale : Trump n&rsquo;appara&icirc;t plus comme un pr\u00e9tendant tentant de s&rsquo;introduire dans le parti r\u00e9publicain contre l&rsquo;<em>establishment<\/em>, mais plut\u00f4t comme celui qui s&rsquo;affirme \u00e9ventuellement comme le \u00ab\u00a0propri\u00e9taire\u00a0\u00bb de ce parti \u00e0 ses conditions, en position de force face \u00e0 l&rsquo;<em>establishment<\/em> et affichant ses conceptions. En d&rsquo;autres mots, cela signifierait que Trump a compl\u00e8tement investi le parti r\u00e9publicain.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><p>&bull; \u00ab\u00a0En face\u00a0\u00bb, du c\u00f4t\u00e9 d\u00e9mocrate, la situation qui devrait \u00eatre nette est et reste incertaine. Ce n&rsquo;est pas tant une question purement \u00e9lectorale (plus personne ne doute de la d\u00e9signation de Clinton malgr\u00e9 l&rsquo;opini\u00e2tret\u00e9 de Sanders) qu&rsquo;une question d&rsquo;atmosph\u00e8re, et surtout d'\u00a0\u00bbatmosph\u00e8re autour d&rsquo;Hillary Clinton\u00a0\u00bb. Tout se passe comme si la technique de Trump qui est de r\u00e9p\u00e9ter et r\u00e9p\u00e9ter la m\u00eame accusation sous forme d&rsquo;une formule imag\u00e9e, comme sous un d\u00e9luge d&rsquo;artillerie qui se d\u00e9roulerait sans faiblir, finissait par porter ses fruits. This judgment goes beyond the many substantive disagreements we have with her worldview. It is, rather, that she is pathologically dishonest. She has repeatedly and demonstrably lied not only during this campaign, but also during decades in public life. She frames herself as a champion of women, despite having assassinated the character of respectable women who suffered from her husband&rsquo;s sexual predations. She has deposited into her own personal bank account, and those of her foundation and her campaign, the fat checks of every pernicious special interest, both foreign and domestic. She thinks herself above the laws that govern everyone else, most recently those laws relating to government transparency and the protection of national secrets.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>&raquo; <em>It would be a relief if Trump were to offer a better alternative, but he has presented precious little evidence that he is either willing or able to do that. And this isn&rsquo;t about his deviations from conservatism on trade, abortion, gun rights, or any other specific issue, although these matter a lot. It&rsquo;s his personal lack of impulse control and good judgment. Trump&rsquo;s behavior gives serious pause to all people of good will. Even on the eve of his nomination victory, Trump embraced yet another kooky conspiracy theory, this time about Cruz&rsquo;s father being involved in the Kennedy assassination, of all things. He has spent much of this campaign season spreading ignorance to supporters over-eager to listen. He has taken naturally conservative voters and led them to stray from noble ideals.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>&raquo; <em>We still want what is best for America. We love this country, and because we want America to succeed, we want its presidents to succeed. That doesn&rsquo;t mean we want them to get all the items on their policy wish list, which frequently are folly (as President Obama has shown). What it means is we want the country properly led and respected, and believe Americans are owed the opportunity to choose a serious candidate.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>&raquo; <em>So at the very least, Trump owes it to the country he boasts he will \u00ab\u00a0make great again\u00a0\u00bb to try to demonstrate some seriousness about the office he seeks. He owes this even to those who will never consider voting for him. He can start by swearing off grand displays of aggressive and apparently deliberate ignorance. This is not too much to ask, <strong>just as it is not too much to ask Clinton not to cash checks from <\/strong><\/em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2015\/04\/24\/us\/cash-flowed-to-clinton-foundation-as-russians-pressed-for-control-of-uranium-company.html?_r=1\"><strong><em>shady Russian banks<\/em><\/strong><\/a><strong><em> connected to Vladimir Putin<\/em><\/strong><em>.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>&raquo; <em>These are difficult times. This great country of 320 million people will likely have to choose between two of the most deeply flawed and disliked candidates ever to present themselves for election.<strong> Clinton has proven herself unworthy of the office she seeks. <\/strong>And Trump has not proven himself remotely worthy. Au contraire, il se conduit comme un butor qui pr\u00e9tendrait prendre le pouvoir sans le moindre m\u00e9nagement, ou pr\u00eat \u00e0 leur tourner le dos avant de tous les balancer au bout d&rsquo;une corde pour pouvoir faire sans eux. Il imprime un rythme infernal \u00e0 tout les monde, aux r\u00e9publicains comme aux d\u00e9mocrates, &ndash; comme l&rsquo;\u00e9crit Trew dans la citation plus haut, \u00ab\u00a0comme jamais aucun candidat \u00e0 la pr\u00e9sidentielle n&rsquo;avait fait avant lui\u00a0\u00bb (&laquo; &#8230;<em>no previous presidential candidate has done this<\/em> &raquo;).<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>Trump ne \u00ab\u00a0ratisse pas large\u00a0\u00bb, il creuse au bulldozer et \u00e0 la mine, tr\u00e8s-tr\u00e8s large et tr\u00e8s profond.
