En effet, ce texte est cit\u00e9 dans notre F&C<\/em> et il nous semble tr\u00e8s utile de le connaître \u00e9ventuellement en d\u00e9tails. Il s’agit d’observer combien, en fonction de ce que dit son jugement actuel par rapport \u00e0 nos propres observations, l’appr\u00e9ciation initiale de Moore acquiert du cr\u00e9dit dans le cadre de l’\u00e9volution de la campagne \u00e9lectorale durant ces derni\u00e8res semaines. Dirait-on simplement qu’un Deus ex-Machina<\/em> est \u00e0 l’oeuvre ?<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n Par ailleurs, les affirmations de Moore sur les conditions où Trump lan\u00e7a sa candidature sont extr\u00eamement d\u00e9taill\u00e9es et assorties d’affirmations p\u00e9remptoires concernant le cr\u00e9dit qu’il faut y apporter. Tout cela nous semble important, non seulement pour l’anecdotique, mais plus encore pour l’\u00e9valuation qu’on peut faire de cette candidature (Trump) par rapport \u00e0 son destin et surtout par rapport \u00e0 sa situation actuelle : c’est en effet par rapport \u00e0 cette situation et aux nouvelles d\u00e9clarations de Moore telles qu’on les rapporte dans le F&C cit\u00e9 qu’on peut d’autant mieux appr\u00e9cier ce texte du 17 août, parce qu’une perspective est ainsi trac\u00e9e<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n D’autre part, ce m\u00eame texte du 17 août, m\u00eame hors de la question de sa compl\u00e8te v\u00e9racit\u00e9, permet d’avoir une meilleure perception du personnage qu’est Donald Trump, du milieu où il \u00e9volue, de ses pr\u00e9occupations et de son comportement. On ne peut certes pas dire, sans surprise excessive, que l’impression g\u00e9n\u00e9rale soit exaltante ; cela permet de mettre d’autant mieux en \u00e9vidence l’\u00e9tranget\u00e9 de cette situation pr\u00e9sente, avec ce milliardaire qui, sans le vouloir et m\u00eame en n’ayant aucunement l’id\u00e9e de faire cela selon Moore, \u00ab\u00a0a enflamm\u00e9 le pays, particuli\u00e8rement chez ceux qui sont l’oppos\u00e9 des milliardaires\u00a0\u00bb<\/strong> ; il est vrai, comme le remarque Moore, que Trump est beaucoup mieux dans ses habitudes et dans son r\u00f4le \u00e0 fr\u00e9quenter des gens comme les Clinton ou les Obama, plut\u00f4t que les dizaines de milliers de \u00ab\u00a0Deplorables<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb qu’il rassemble r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement autour de lui dans des meetings enthousiastes. Il s’agit effectivement d’une sorte de \u00ab\u00a0Tintin chez les capitalistes\u00a0\u00bb ; une \u00e9tonnante p\u00e9rip\u00e9tie chez les capitalistes, au cœur du capitalisme, pour une mise en cause tonitruante par la campagne du plus capitaliste d’entre tous, Donald Trump, de la production principale du capitalisme, – la pauvret\u00e9 et l’instabilit\u00e9<\/strong>… Et tout cela pourrait bien \u00eatre vrai, v\u00e9ridique, conforme \u00e0 une v\u00e9rit\u00e9-de-situation<\/a> !<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Effectivement encore, cette description conduit \u00e0 mesurer l’abîme d’absurdit\u00e9 ubuesque de la narrative<\/em> concernant un Trump fasciste-nazi \u00e0 peine dissimul\u00e9, avec des plans de mise en place d’un r\u00e9gime oppressif extr\u00eamement structur\u00e9, qui serait le ni\u00e8me \u00ab\u00a0nouvel Hitler\u00a0\u00bb et le plus s\u00e9rieux puisqu’am\u00e9ricaniste (l’avez-vous imagin\u00e9 avec son fameux combin\u00e9 m\u00e8che-moustaches et son Sieg Heil<\/em> ? Serait-il meilleur que Ludwig Von Apfelstrudel [\u00ab\u00a0g\u00e2teau aux pommes\u00a0\u00bb en allemand], demi-fr\u00e8re d’Hitler, alias Jacques Villeret dans Papy fait de la r\u00e9sistance <\/a><\/em>?<\/strong>). Par cons\u00e9quent, il y a une interrogation majeure \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper sur l’extraordinaire aisance avec laquelle une telle narrative<\/em> se d\u00e9veloppe dans le jugement des \u00e9lites-Syst\u00e8me<\/strong> des nations dites-civilis\u00e9es, celles du bloc-BAO essentiellement, par exemple dans des pays r\u00e9put\u00e9s pour leur culture constante et attentive de l’intelligence en plus de leur position d’inspiratrices de la civilisation, comme la France du pr\u00e9sident-poire par exemple.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Nous vivons donc dans un univers \u00e9trange et dans une \u00e9poque sensationnelle, au milieu des complots en carton-p\u00e2te et des menaces-bouffes de guerre nucl\u00e9aire. Un personnage tel que Trump, sorti tout droit des tours hypermodernes pav\u00e9es de $milliards et des talk-shows<\/em> de t\u00e9l\u00e9-r\u00e9alit\u00e9, d\u00e9cidant d’\u00eatre candidat \u00e0 la pr\u00e9sidence pour obtenir des avantages d’une chaîne t\u00e9l\u00e9vis\u00e9e, pour une \u00e9mission qui lui est ch\u00e8re, et terminant en candidat-antiSyst\u00e8me ultra-s\u00e9rieux qui secoue jusque dans ses tr\u00e9fonds les USA et le Syst\u00e8me, tout cela est si parfaitement conforme \u00e0 l’air du temps ! On en vient donc \u00e0 penser que l’histoire de Moore est fond\u00e9e, qu’elle est juste et qu’elle est compl\u00e8tement logique jusqu’\u00e0 \u00eatre une v\u00e9rit\u00e9-de-situation<\/a>, rien de moins, – surtout, surtout si on la compl\u00e8te par l’image fulgurante du The-Donald <\/em>transform\u00e9 en cocktail-Molotov<\/a> postmoderne, ce qui est une magnifique cerise permanent\u00e9e et bronz\u00e9e sur le g\u00e2teau.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n ___________________<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Friends,<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Donald Trump never actually wanted to be President of the United States. I know this for a fact. I’m not going to say how I know it. I’m not saying that Trump and I shared the same agent or lawyer or stylist or, if we did, that that would have anything to do with anything. And I’m certainly not saying that I ever overheard anything at those agencies or in the hallways of NBC or anywhere else. But there are certain people reading this right now, they know who they are, and they know that every word in the following paragraphs actually happened.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Trump was unhappy with his deal as host and star of his hit NBC show, \u00ab\u00a0The Apprentice\u00a0\u00bb (and \u00ab\u00a0The Celebrity Apprentice\u00a0\u00bb). Simply put, he wanted more money. He had floated the idea before of possibly running for president in the hopes that the attention from that would make his negotiating position stronger. But he knew, as the self-proclaimed king of the dealmakers, that saying you’re going to do something is bupkus — DOING it is what makes the bastards sit up and pay attention.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Trump had begun talking to other networks about moving his show. This was another way to get leverage — the fear of losing him to someone else — and when he \u00ab\u00a0quietly\u00a0\u00bb met with the head of one of those networks, and word got around, his hand was strengthened. He knew then that it was time to play his Big Card.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n He decided to run for President.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Of course he wouldn’t really have to RUN for President — just make the announcement, hold a few mega-rallies that would be packed with tens of thousands of fans, and wait for the first opinion polls to come in showing him — what else! — in first place! And then he would get whatever deal he wanted, worth millions more than what he was currently being paid.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n So, on June 16th of last year, he rode down his golden escalator and opened his mouth. With no campaign staff, no 50-state campaign infrastructure — neither of which he needed because, remember, this wasn’t going to be a real campaign — and with no prepared script, he went off the rails at his kick-off press conference, calling Mexicans \u00ab\u00a0rapists\u00a0\u00bb and \u00ab\u00a0drug dealers\u00a0\u00bb and pledging to build a wall to keep them all out. Jaws in the room were agape. His comments were so offensive, NBC, far from offering him a bigger paycheck, immediately fired him with this terse statement: \u00ab\u00a0Due to the recent derogatory statements by Donald Trump regarding immigrants, NBCUniversal is ending its business relationship with Mr. Trump.\u00a0\u00bb NBC said it was also canceling the beauty pageants owned by Trump: Miss USA and Miss Universe. BOOM.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Trump was stunned. So much for the art of the deal. He never expected this, but he stuck to his plan anyway to increase his \u00ab\u00a0value\u00a0\u00bb in the eyes of the other networks by showing them how many millions of Americans wanted Him to be their Leader. He knew, of course (and the people he trusted also told him) that there was no way he was actually going to win many (if any) of the primaries, and he certainly would not become the Republican nominee, and NEVER would he EVER be the President of the United States. Of course not! Nor would he want to be! The job of being President is WORK and BORING and you have to live in the GHETTO of Washington, DC, in a SMALL 200-yr. old house that’s damp and dreary and has only TWO floors! A \u00ab\u00a0second floor\u00a0\u00bb is not a penthouse! But none of this was a worry, as \u00ab\u00a0Trump for President\u00a0\u00bb was only a ruse that was going to last a few months.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n And then something happened. And to be honest, if it happened to you, you might have reacted the same way. Trump, to his own surprise, ignited the country, especially among people who were the opposite of billionaires. He went straight to #1 in the polls of Republican voters. Up to 30,000 boisterous supporters started showing up to his rallies. TV ate it up. He became the first American celebrity to be able to book himself on any show he wanted to be on — and then NOT show up to the studio! From \u00ab\u00a0Face the Nation\u00a0\u00bb to \u00ab\u00a0The Today Show\u00a0\u00bb to Anderson Cooper, he was able to simply phone in and they’d put him on the air live. He could’ve been sitting on his golden toilet in Trump Tower for all we knew –and the media had no problem with any of that. In fact, CBS head Les Moonves famously admitted that Trump was very good for TV ratings and selling ads — music to the ears the NBC-spurned narcissist.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Trump fell in love with himself all over again, and he soon forgot his mission to get a good deal for a TV show. A TV show? Are you kldding – that’s for losers like Chris Harrison, whoever that is (host of \u00ab\u00a0The Bachelorette\u00a0\u00bb). He was no longer king of the dealmakers — he was King of the World! His tiniest musings would be discussed and dissected everywhere by everybody for days, weeks, months! THAT never happened on \u00ab\u00a0The Apprentice\u00a0\u00bb! Host a TV show? He was the star of EVERY TV SHOW — and, soon, winning nearly every primary!<\/p>\n<\/p>\n And then… you can see the moment it finally dawned on him… that \u00ab\u00a0Oh shit!\u00a0\u00bb revelation: \u00ab\u00a0I’m actually going to be the Republican nominee — and my rich beautiful life is f#*@ing over!\u00a0\u00bb It was the night he won the New Jersey primary. The headline on TIME.com was, \u00ab\u00a0Donald Trump’s Subdued Victory Speech After Winning New Jersey.\u00a0\u00bb Instead of it being one of his loud, brash speeches, it was downright depressing. No energy, no happiness, just the realization that now he was going to have to go through with this stunt that he started. It was no longer going to be performance art. He was going to have to go to work.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Soon, though, his karma caught up with him. Calling Mexicans \u00ab\u00a0rapists\u00a0\u00bb should have disqualified him on Day One (or for saying Obama wasn’t born here, as he did in 2011). No, it took 13 months of racist, sexist, stupid comments before he finally undid himself with the trifecta of attacking the family of a slain soldier, ridiculing the Purple Heart and suggesting that the pro-gun crowd assassinate Hillary Clinton. By this past weekend, the look on his face said it all — \u00ab\u00a0I hate this! I want my show back!\u00a0\u00bb But it was too late. He was damaged goods, his brand beyond repair, a worldwide laughing stock — and worse, a soon-to-be loser.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n But, let me throw out another theory, one that assumes that Trump isn’t as dumb or crazy as he looks. Maybe the meltdown of the past three weeks was no accident. Maybe it’s all part of his new strategy to get the hell out of a race he never intended to see through to its end anyway. Because, unless he is just \u00ab\u00a0crazy,\u00a0\u00bb the only explanation for the unusual ramping up, day after day, of one disgustingly reckless statement after another is that he’s doing it consciously (or subconsciously) so that he’ll have to bow out or blame \u00ab\u00a0others\u00a0\u00bb for forcing him out. Many now are sensing the end game here because they know Trump seriously doesn’t want to do the actual job — and, most importantly, he cannot and WILL NOT suffer through being officially and legally declared a loser — LOSER! — on the night of November 8th.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Trust me, I’ve met the guy. Spent an afternoon with him. He would rather invite the Clintons AND the Obamas to his next wedding than have that scarlet letter (\u00ab\u00a0L\u00a0\u00bb) branded on his forehead seconds after the last polls have closed on that night, the evening of the final episode of the permanently cancelled Donald Trump Shit-Show.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Yours,<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Don, if you’re reading this, do it soon. Give your pathetic party a chance to pick up the pieces and nominate Ryan or Romney so they can be the ones to lose the White House, the Senate, the House and yes, praise Jesus and the Notorious RBG, the Supreme Court.
