Chaque jour nous apporte son lot de r\u00e9v\u00e9lations dans l’enqu\u00eate que nous menons dans ce que nous nommons selon les circonstances \u00ab\u00a0Grande Crise d’Effondrement du Syst\u00e8me\u00a0\u00bb, \u00ab\u00a0Grande Crise Finale\u00a0\u00bb, \u00ab\u00a0Crise du Monde\u00a0\u00bb ou \u00ab\u00a0Crise d’Effondrement de la Civilisation\u00a0\u00bb, et tant d’autres expressions recouvrant ce ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne unique que nous ressentons tous de diverses fa\u00e7ons, directement ou indirectement, consciemment ou non, etc. Ces derniers temps, qui pourraient \u00eatre \u00e9galement transcrits dans son deuxi\u00e8me sens de l’expression eschatologique \u00ab\u00a0Les Derniers Temps\u00a0\u00bb<\/strong>, nous ressentons l’acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration extraordinaire de la puissance effectivement eschatologique du ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne cosmique que sont devenus nos \u00ab\u00a0\u00e9v\u00e9nements courants\u00a0\u00bb, \u00e9galement identifi\u00e9s par nous comme un \u00ab\u00a0tourbillon crisique<\/a>\u00a0\u00bb (cas sp\u00e9cifiquement op\u00e9rationnel du \u00ab\u00a0chaos-nouveau<\/a>\u00ab\u00a0) ; ou encore l’affrontement peut-\u00eatre ultimedans ce cas chronologique, alors qu’il est n\u00e9cessairement promis \u00e0 l’\u00eatre au bout du compte, du Syst\u00e8me contre l’antiSyst\u00e8me. Les expressions, les repr\u00e9sentations ne manquent pas, qui mesurent, pour ceux qui ont la conscience du ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne qui nous emporte et nous d\u00e9passe tous, la puissance sans pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent ni \u00e9quivalent pour notre civilisation de la s\u00e9quence actuelle.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n La chose, – chose monstrueuse et terrible ou chose salvatrice et n\u00e9cessaire c’est selon, – touche ces derni\u00e8res semaines où tout semble effectivement aller de plus en plus vite, de plus en plus d’observateurs et de commentateurs dans le syst\u00e8me de la communication devenu le v\u00e9ritable champ de cette bataille qui ne cesse de sugg\u00e9rer la r\u00e9f\u00e9rence d’Armageddon<\/strong>. Il existe pour cela la puissance \u00e9galement sans pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent et sans \u00e9quivalent des \u00ab\u00a0r\u00e9seaux\u00a0\u00bb, de la \u00ab\u00a0presse alternative\u00a0\u00bb, de ce qui est selon nous la presse et la communication antiSyst\u00e8me, ce ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne qui s’est constitu\u00e9e en quelques ann\u00e9es et constitue d\u00e9sormais une puissance consid\u00e9rable, un moyen de combat et de riposte fulgurant face \u00e0 la puissance de plus en plus aveugle, robotis\u00e9e, anesth\u00e9si\u00e9e, compl\u00e8tement emprisonn\u00e9e et soumise de la communication-Syst\u00e8me et de la presse-Syst\u00e8me. Cette occurrence \u00e9galement extraordinaire, – rien de semblable n’\u00e9tait concevable il y a seulement vingt ans, – permet effectivement \u00e0 cette bataille d’\u00eatre men\u00e9e, qui n’aurait pas eu lieu sans cela, nous laissant \u00e0 la dissolution et \u00e0 l’entropisation des forces du Syst\u00e8me, sans autre issue que notre \u00ab\u00a0n\u00e9antissement\u00a0\u00bb<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Ces remarques sont, une fois de plus, une sorte d'\u00a0\u00bb\u00e9tat des lieux\u00a0\u00bb alors que les lieux et leur \u00e9tat se modifient si rapidement, et une fa\u00e7on d’exprimer ce que chacun d’entre nous ressent \u00e0 sa fa\u00e7on ; \u00ab\u00a0comment nous combattons\u00a0\u00bb et, aussit\u00f4t compris, \u00ab\u00a0pourquoi nous combattons\u00a0\u00bb, – car d\u00e8s lors que ce \u00ab\u00a0comment\u00a0\u00bb est accompli et bien compris, le reste pour notre cas va de soi et la question fondamentale du \u00ab\u00a0pourquoi\u00a0\u00bb est r\u00e9solue<\/strong>. Puisque que nous pouvons effectivement mener cette bataille, chacun de nous \u00e0 sa fa\u00e7on, gr\u00e2ce aux moyens in\u00e9dits que nous donne la communication, c’est donc que cette bataille doit \u00eatre men\u00e9e<\/strong>. Pardonnez-nous ou plut\u00f4t entendez-nous car il n’y a rien \u00e0 pardonner et toutes les hypoth\u00e8ses ont leur place, si nous voyons dans cette occurrence bien plus que le seul effet d’une rebellion de la seule \u00ab\u00a0raison humaine\u00a0\u00bb, dont nombre de ses autres effets ne cessent par contre de d\u00e9couvrir dans notre temps des aspects si totalement catastrophique, si nous voyons, nous, d’abord l’effet de forces puissantes qui nous d\u00e9passent parce qu’elles sont du domaine de la supra-humanit\u00e9<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Nous croyons que c’est certainement cela qu’ont \u00e0 l’esprit les auteurs de cet article que nous reprenons, d’origine russe certes et bien entendu (Oriental Review<\/em>), parce que l'\u00a0\u00bb\u00e2me russe\u00a0\u00bb n’est pas une vaine expression et parce que la Russie occupe dans cette bataille une place exceptionnelle qui lui a \u00e9t\u00e9 assign\u00e9e bien plus qu’elle ne l’a choisie<\/strong>. M\u00eame si les auteurs le disent \u00e0 leur fa\u00e7on un peu exalt\u00e9e si caract\u00e9ristique ( « \u00ab\u00a0Sauver le monde de l’expansion sans frein du mal\u00a0\u00bb, – voil\u00e0 la mission globale et le destin de la nation russe et de l’État russe en tant que ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes historiques. Ce destin n’a pas \u00e9t\u00e9 choisi, mais la Russie est destin\u00e9e une fois de plus \u00e0 sauver le monde de la destruction, – sinon, elle ne serait plus la Russie<\/em> »), – nous ne retenons, nous, qu’une chose qu’ils expriment eux aussi dans ce passage: le destin russe dans cette bataille n’a pas \u00e9t\u00e9 choisie par la Russie, il lui a \u00e9t\u00e9 confi\u00e9 d’autorit\u00e9 et elle ne peut que l’assumer, tout comme les autres forces engag\u00e9es dans cette bataille, d’un c\u00f4t\u00e9 ou de l’autre, assument leurs destins trac\u00e9s en-dehors d’elles bien plus qu’elles ne les conduisent apr\u00e8s les avoir d\u00e9termin\u00e9s<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n Voici donc un article plein de feu et d’exaltation, mais qui sait aussi se contenir gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une raison vigilante (et non subvertie), mais qui dit \u00e0 sa fa\u00e7on une v\u00e9rit\u00e9-de-situation<\/a> si consid\u00e9rable et cosmique qu’on peut parler de V\u00e9rit\u00e9 tout court, et cela rejoignant et retrouvant sans aucun doute notre conviction<\/strong>. Ce qui se passe aujourd’hui, notamment en Syrie mais aussi ailleurs, a peu de choses \u00e0 voir avec les habituelles manigances humaines, les soubresauts et les manœuvres qu’on qualifie de \u00ab\u00a0politiques\u00a0\u00bb, de \u00ab\u00a0g\u00e9opolitiques\u00a0\u00bb, d'\u00a0\u00bbh\u00e9g\u00e9moniques\u00a0\u00bb, etc. Ces traits sont l\u00e0, bien sûr, pour illustrer la mati\u00e8re terrestre et historique de la chose, mais ils ne font que traduire des forces et des puissances qui nous d\u00e9passent<\/strong> ; s’en tenir \u00e0 eux est une d\u00e9marche compr\u00e9hensible et somme toute rationnelle mais que nous jugeons \u00e0 la fois incompl\u00e8te et finalement faussaire et trompeuse si l’on s’en tient \u00e0 elle, ne serait-ce que par notre raison n’est plus n\u00e9cessairement l’instrument superbe de la pens\u00e9e qu’il \u00e9tait \u00e0 l’origine, puisque devenue dans tant de cas raison-subvertie<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Il est assez bienvenu que les auteurs du texte fasse tout de m\u00eame et justemet appel \u00e0 la raison pour tenter d’exposer leur conclusion qui caract\u00e9rise une bataille ultime que la raison seule, m\u00eame sortie de sa subversion, ne suffit pas \u00e0 expliquer. Ils expriment ainsi, sans le dire express\u00e9ment, qu’il faut effectivement veiller \u00e0 d\u00e9barrasser sa raison de toute la subversion qui l’infecte depuis plusieurs si\u00e8cles, et alors il apparaîtra qu’elle est bien l\u00e0, hors des impulsions \u00e9motives et des emportements de l’affectivisme<\/a>, pour faire son travail unique de rangement du monde selon une perception d\u00e9barrass\u00e9e des agressions d\u00e9structurantes et dissolvantes que permettrait une psychologie retrouv\u00e9e, qui reste en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral pour ce temps de confusion et de bataille et comme on le constate chaque jour la premi\u00e8re victime de la subversion dont nous parlons ; mais il apparaîtra \u00e9galement qu’une telle raison r\u00e9tablie dans sa vertu, est aussi et nous dirions m\u00eame d’abord pr\u00e9sente pour s’ouvrir \u00e0 l’intuition haute et en accepter les enseignements<\/strong>…<\/p>\n<\/p>\n « Il est important pour tous les citoyens rationnels du monde de comprendre que lorsqu’ils lisent et voient les nouvelles de Syrie, l’enjeu ne concerne pas Assad et la Syrie, ni m\u00eame les int\u00e9r\u00eats nationaux<\/em> [du principe souverain] de l’État-nation. L’enjeu est celui de la guerre de deux mondes ; guerre dans laquelle chaque citoyen doit faire son propre choix existentiel<\/em>. » (On notera que nous avons propos\u00e9 plut\u00f4t \u00ab\u00a0fondements\u00a0\u00bb que \u00ab\u00a0principes\u00a0\u00bb pour traduire \u00ab\u00a0principles<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb parce que dans nos conceptions, \u00ab\u00a0principe\u00a0\u00bb a n\u00e9cessairement une connotation structurante et vertueuse, et qu’il ne saurait y avoir un principe de d\u00e9structuration et d’entropisation du monde ; il ne s’agit que de mettre une traduction en coh\u00e9rence avec notre m\u00e9thodologie.)<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Comme on le comprend, ce texte analyse la situation syrienne et ses perspectives explosives et eschatologiques sans accepter les habituelles th\u00e8ses d\u00e9velopp\u00e9es \u00e0 ce propos. Le th\u00e8me de l’article est \u00ab\u00a0pourquoi se passe-t-il ce qu’il se passe en Syrie ?\u00a0\u00bb ; et d’\u00e9carter les habituelles et sempiternelles explications pour en venir \u00e0 l’appr\u00e9ciation fondamentale dont nous avons beaucoup parl\u00e9 ci-dessus. Pour nous, selon notre m\u00e9thodologie et notre classement, cela revient \u00e0 parler de l’immense Armageddon entre Syst\u00e8me et antiSyst\u00e8me. Les auteurs ont leurs tendances, leurs penchants, et notamment la place mystique qu’ils accordent \u00e0 la christianit\u00e9 et \u00e0 la Russie, – certains jugeront, un peu trop \u00ab\u00a0\u00e0 la seule Russie\u00a0\u00bb. L\u00e0 n’est certainement pas ce qui compte et ce qui nous importe ; ce qui importe c’est que de tels textes apparaissent d\u00e9sormais, actuellement, dans ces temps-l\u00e0, qui ne sont plus de la sorte des habituelles contorsions intellectuelles où l’on tente d’expliquer l’inexplicable si l’on en reste aux arguments courants, notamment par des montages fantasmagoriques qu’on essaie de faire tenir dans la seule sph\u00e8re du sapiens<\/em>, m\u00eame pr\u00e9tendument antiSyst\u00e8me<\/strong>. La raison, lorsqu’elle n’est plus subvertie, s’ouvre effectivement sur des domaines qui d\u00e9passent les bornes \u00e9touffantes que nous nous sommes impos\u00e9es, – ruse ultime du Syst\u00e8me. On jugera donc sur pi\u00e8ce, \u00e0 partir d’un texte du 13 octobre<\/a> de Oriental Review<\/em>, que nous avions trouv\u00e9 d’abord parce qu’il \u00e9tait repris, \u00e9galement le 13 octobre<\/a>, par ZeroHedge.com<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n _________________________<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n In recent weeks, the battle for Aleppo has exposed the true heart of contemporary global politics with vivid clarity. The US Air Force’s duplicitous Sept. 17 attack on Syrian army positions near Deir ez-Zor<\/a>, the hysterical outcry against Russia that erupted from the Pentagon<\/a>, the US State Department’s undisguised threats<\/a> against the Russian contingent in Syria, the Western media’s candid reports<\/a> about arms shipments to al-Nusra militants, and the phantasmagoric drama in the UN Security Council<\/a> on Oct. 8 all point to just one thing: there are no international coalitions against ISIL- there is only the Russian army and its allies who are taking a stand against the international terrorism used as a tool by the US and NATO.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n The contours of today’s biggest international conflict are clear. But still not everyone understands its core and causes.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n The conventional wisdom – that a decrepit global hegemon was unable to export \u00ab\u00a0democracy\u00a0\u00bb into a stable nation and now finds itself at a dead end – does not actually explain very much. But why did that stumbling block turn out to be Syria, which is certainly not the most significant country in the world? Why isn’t it, for example, Egypt that is under attack, where \u00ab\u00a0fighters for democracy\u00a0\u00bb from the Muslim Brotherhood have been unable to consolidate their victory and have even had to cede power to the powerful and far from pro-American government?<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Why is Russia the country that is standing up to the aggressor? After all, Russia was on the verge of collapse not so long ago and is in no way a major competitor to the Western economy. And why is the United States pushing so fiercely to raise the stakes, driving the planet to the brink of a third world war?<\/p>\n<\/p>\n And yes, of course, many Middle East experts can rattle off a whole list of potential answers to all these \u00ab\u00a0whys.\u00a0\u00bb But upon careful analysis it becomes clear that they are only the footnotes to what is actually the main reason.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n The first and most frequent argument cited is the oil and gas factor. Allegedly, the surfeit of reserves in Syria has made that country a desirable goal for the West, which – in the wake of Iraq and Libya – could cash in on Syria’s hydrocarbons, now that it has wiped out the local government. But in fact there are only 2.5 billion barrels<\/a> of proven reserves of that oil in Syria, which is 0.1% of the global total.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n And that is clearly not enough to explain the outbreak of a terrorist intervention in Syria: if the West were only focused on oil, it would be more logical to orchestrate such an export of democracy into Venezuela, which sits on 17.5% of the world’s reserves.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n It is also surmised that the rationale for the aggression could be traced back to Damascus’s 2009 refusal to allow a gas pipeline running from Qatar to Europe to cross its borders<\/a>. But that would also be an overstatement. That disagreement might have been a motivation for the Qataris, but hardly the West. That gas-pipeline project is itself so risky that it could perhaps have served as a bluff or pretext, but not as a serious reason to launch a multi-year terrorist campaign against Assad.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n There has been a popular trend in recent years to examine any conflict for traces of oil and to blame those hydrocarbon deposits for all tribulations, but that is an oversimplification and is similar to the monetarist approach to the economy, in which all the complexities of economic relations are evaluated exclusively in terms of debits and credits.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n With regard to global politics however, oil is only meaningful as a tool (although an important one) for safeguarding interests and reaching geopolitical goals: Hitler was desperate to reach the oil fields in Baku, not for their own sake, but to cut off Moscow’s access and thus deal a death blow to the USSR.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n It is unacceptable to conflate tools and goals because this creates a distraction from the truth.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Far less significant as an explanation of the war in Syria – which is on the verge of blowing up into a global conflict – are the arguments citing, for example, the legitimate internal animosities within Syria and within the region, or the spread of Islamism and the collapse of the state in Iraq, a country that is now a breeding ground for the growth of extremism, or the confrontation between Sunnis and Shiites or Saudi Arabia and Iran, or overpopulation in the region, or water shortages, etc.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n All of this, in varying degrees of course, contributes to the severity of the conflict, but it does not at all explain why troops from dozens of countries – including two of the most powerful, the US and Russia – are currently active in Syria.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n There is a much more convincing explanation of the current strife in Syria, although it is not considered sufficiently scholarly.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n The wreckage of that country is of vital urgency to the supranational elites in order to fan the flames of chaos in the Middle East, which will make it possible to spread the forces of destabilization across all of Eurasia and help topple the alternative centers of economic power – especially China and Russia.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Supposedly the Federal Reserve cannot survive an inundation of debt, and the war in Syria is being used as a tool to destabilize any competitors in this economic showdown.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n And indeed it was the Chinese economy that in 2014 outstripped <\/a>America’s GDP, and it would seem that between these two economic behemoths – one falling and one rising – a military and political struggle had to ensue. Both American as well as Chinese political analysts have had a lot to say about this in recent years.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n However, during the Syrian conflict – and this is an incontestable fact – China has kept itself far from the fray. For five whole years – and even during the current flare-up – Beijing has maintained its usual neutrality, merely lamenting the suffering of the Syrians and issuing condemnations of terrorism.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n In economic terms Russia does not pose a genuine threat to the US, but in Syria it is indeed the Russian army that is the Americans’ biggest foe – the Chinese don’t figure into it at all there.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n And looking at the situation geographically, the conflict in Syria could spread the contagion of ISIL into the Russian Caucasus (through a direct corridor that passes through Turkey) far more quickly than such a plague could enter, say, China’s more distant Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region. By that logic, it would be smarter to promote ISIL in Afghanistan or Pakistan, a better starting point for funneling the terrorist chaos into China.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Moreover, it is quite safe to assume that if Russia were not such a significant geopolitical player today, Beijing would not have entered into a confrontation with the US over Syria, but would have instead come to an agreement with the West even on the basis of a compromise that was not very advantageous for China, taking the historical long view to bet on the inevitable attenuation of Western civilization.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n For Russia however, the conflict with the West has absolutely nothing to do with economics. It is inane to suggest that the Russian economy, despite all its genuine progress over the past 15 years, poses a threat to the US global economy, in which China still plays an integral part.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Yes, geopolitical associations such as BRICS could potentially topple the currency system established at the Jamaica Conference, as well as the Washington consensus, but again this is not economic competition, but the financial projection of a military and political showdown.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n But what is at its core? Why is Russia once again at the epicenter of a global conflict that is threatening to boil over? Why has the Russian state – which underwent a painful transformation in the late 20th century from which it has yet to fully recover – been forced to withstand the attack of a hegemon that steers international developments and possesses far more advanced tools of confrontation?<\/p>\n<\/p>\n To understand the essence of what is happening, one must ultimately acknowledge that the actions of those in the top echelon of Western civilization<\/strong> – not the clerks laboring at the State Department and Pentagon, but the true managers of the Pax Americana global project, who are viewed as utter pragmatists – are in fact dictated by very specific ideals and ultimate goals<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Their words about American exceptionalism<\/a> as the ideal free society, the beacon of democracy, and the Earth’s last hope are more than just nice catchphrases and advertising jingles – they represent their sense of themselves as a special force on this planet. Back in the 18th century, Jonathan Edwards declared <\/a>that Americans had taken the place of the Jews as God’s chosen people. And even America’s Founding Fathers saw in their work the culmination of the history of the world.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n By the 20th century, Ronald Reagan, who accused the Soviet Union of being an \u00ab\u00a0evil empire,\u00a0\u00bb was clearly claiming the role of the \u00ab\u00a0good empire\u00a0\u00bb for the US. In this sense, the Bushes, the Clintons, and Obama are not inventing anything new, only using different words to express this very American messianism.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n A natural expression of this ideology can be seen throughout the foreign policy of the modern US as \u00ab\u00a0an exporter of democracy\u00a0\u00bb and the world’s referee and policeman. The seizure of resources, oil, and gas – as well as financial rewards – are just bonuses and a tool to help attain these ideals.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n The key concept is \u00ab\u00a0freedom,\u00a0\u00bb around which the remainder of the construct of \u00ab\u00a0exclusivity\u00a0\u00bb is built. This is communicated as human freedom<\/u> (i.e., as a blessing), but actually the \u00ab\u00a0rulers of the world\u00a0\u00bb understand this as freedom of capital<\/u>, i.e., a policy of \u00ab\u00a0anything goes\u00a0\u00bb for homo economicus<\/em>. According to them, the ideal world should be a market for goods and services, in which a human being is himself both of these. Money becomes the equivalent of every manifestation of the universe as well as its primary essence.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Everything that is designated as pragmatism is actually derived from this \u00ab\u00a0monetary\u00a0\u00bb understanding of life.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n However, the expansion of money<\/strong> – in a spatial and a spiritual dimension – is not restricted to today’s profits but pursues its main goal at any cost, which is to utterly engulf the world and reformat mankind into a financial mechanism<\/strong> (that process itself is known as progress, which is analogous to the development of technology).<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Is it worth even explaining that \u00ab\u00a0freedom\u00a0\u00bb and \u00ab\u00a0progress\u00a0\u00bb as understood in this way are utterly at odds with the entire 2,000-year path of Christianity and are lethal for humanity?<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n As a matter of fact, in recent decades Western civilization has moved toward a total rejection of Christianity under the guise of \u00ab\u00a0tolerance\u00a0\u00bb and toward the promotion of depravity under the guise of \u00ab\u00a0gay rights\u00a0\u00bb, while Russia has become the primary champion of traditional values and faiths.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Is it simply a coincidence that the onset of this major battle between the \u00ab\u00a0freedom of capital\u00a0\u00bb and \u00ab\u00a0freedom of the soul\u00a0\u00bb is coming to a head on Syrian soil where the Christian world took its first steps? <\/strong>Christianity was born amidst those rocks of the Middle Eastern Mediterranean region, and hundreds of years later we are seeing attempts to bury it there.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Interestingly, the ISIL ideologues, who were trained in the US prisons to selectively abuse the Kuran verses, enjoy citing hadith 6924<\/a>, which describes a battle between Good and Evil in the Syrian town of Dabiq. Are they – like those who hang upon their every word with gaping mouths – aware that they are merely the deceived cannon-fodder of the Devil in the Last Battle?<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n Are the multitudes who each day chomp away at the vacuous chewing gum known as CNN capable of grasping that history is not propelled by oil or fleeting interests, but by a battle between opposing principles, two forces that are pulling humanity in different directions – one down into the Gehenna and the other up to the Land o’ the Leal?<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n It is odd but true: over the course of the last few centuries only one power – Russia – has planted herself squarely in the path of those who declare themselves to be a \u00ab\u00a0great blessing\u00a0\u00bb, a \u00ab\u00a0pure race\u00a0\u00bb, or a \u00ab\u00a0beacon of democracy\u00a0\u00bb while seeking to subjugate humanity. <\/strong> Historians can spend all the time they want trying to convince us of the objectivity of the emergence of Hitler and his eastern campaign, that the US and Great Britain did not notice his Nazi mischief and then carelessly helped the German economy by furnishing it with loans, but it is obvious that Hitler, like today’s ISIL, had been carefully groomed<\/a> for an offensive against Russia. And after the Soviet army destroyed Hitler’s army, they were ready to do \u00ab\u00a0the unthinkable<\/a>\u00a0\u00bb – to attack the USSR. They never took that plunge. But in the initial postwar years they used the prospect of their atomic bomb to intimidate Moscow<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n It is daft to try to explain away such infamy as merely the consequence of the standoff between the communist and capitalist systems, because as we saw after the collapse of the Soviet Union – communism was no more, but Russia was still the enemy.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n \u00ab\u00a0To save the world from the unmitigated spread of evil\u00a0\u00bb – such is the global mission and the fate of the Russian nation and the Russian state as a historical phenomenon. This fate was not chosen, but Russia is destined to once again save the world from destruction – otherwise she would no longer be Russia. <\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n This in no way implies the infallibility or exceptionalism of Russians themselves, since the battle is taking place within them as well, but it confers upon that nation a special responsibility for the fate of the whole world.<\/strong> The fact of this mission explains the irrational, savage hatred of Russia and of Russians that inflames the global \u00ab\u00a0superclass\u00a0\u00bb and that is reflected in the terabytes of militant propaganda they pay for each day.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n It is important for all rational citizens of the world to understand that when they watch the news from Syria, the real issue is not about Assad or Syria as such, nor even about the national interests of a nation state. The issue is about the metaphysical standoff between the two principles of this universe. It is about the war of the worlds.
